The panel does display a decent 91.7% of the sRGB colour gamut and its Delta E of 2.39 is reasonable, but the temperature of 7809K is cool. Overall I’m OK with this laptop. It’s just as good as the 15” model I reviewed recently, except it has an SD card reader. It is bigger and heavier though, so you’ll have to put up with a little extra heft if you want the bigger 17-inch screen. The aluminium body feels reassuringly solid and the laptop’s lid has very little flex to it. I like the way the hinge has been calibrated so that you can open it with just one hand, too. Here are the new results from adding +100Mhz:The main difference between this model and the 15” version is the RGB. Not that the 15” model had the best RGB – it was pretty much entry level as far as RGB keyboards go. But this 17” model’s keyboard only has white with two brightness levels. Probably not a deal breaker for most people, but definitely worth noting. This configuration on hand comes with an RTX 3070, although you can also get the 3060 or 3050 if you want to save some money. This top GPU has 8GB of VRAM, which should be plenty, especially considering the screen is only FHD.

The Legion doesn’t make too much noise either – there’s fan noise present when you play games or push the hardware, but it’s not irritating or problematic. Temperatures were fine on the inside and outside, and there were no throttling issues. It’s just as good as the Asus and MSI here. If you want even better performance, go with the RTX 3060, 3070, or the AMD Radeon RX 6600M. The GTX 1650 can get the job done, but you might experience some stutters and frame drops here and there, and it'll take longer to complete tasks.
