About this deal

While I’ve never been able to completely drain the battery as I prefer to always have at least 30% of charge in my shavers, I think the 3 hours claim is pretty much on point. The BaBylissPRO FXFS2 is not unfortunately waterproof, which is a bummer as you won’t be able to rinse it clean.

Say goodbye to all the problems that shaving with a blade creates for your skin! This foil shaver doesn’t just protect against irritations like razor bumps and ingrown hairs; its hypoallergenic aluminium foil is specially designed for sensitive skin, even if you’re already dealing with sensitivities.

Andis Profoil

I use the brush to remove most of them, but I do not brush the cutters for the same reason why I don’t brush the foils. Only rotary shavers are noticeably quieter, but those aren’t really a viable alternative to the FOILFX02 and its intended use.

I just don’t want to take any risk of damaging them. If you do want to clean the cutters with the brush, make sure to be very gentle and only brush with the direction of the blades, never across them (longitudinally). If you want a shaver that can help you avoid irritation, then I would opt for the Wahl Finale. Whilst the Profoil is unlikely to cause irritation, the Finale is specially designed to deal with people who have sensitive skin. Sensitive skin is one of the biggest issues you’ll have to deal with when you’re shaving, so it’s definitely a necessity if you’re prone to getting razor bumps when you’re shaving. However, Andis #17150 Profoil – and especially the new #17200 Lithium Plus have more durable foils. I’m saying again, 2 years without any issues. I’ve also seen a lot more people complain about Wahl foils, to be honest. I’ve been reviewing electric razors for 10 years and whenever I see one that isn’t waterproof, I immediately think that cleaning it will be more difficult and fiddly.

Get the Finale if you want the smoothest action and you can afford it. Get the Profoil (or better, the Plus) if you want sturdier cutters and a more affordable price tag.Wahl has established itself as one of the top clipper manufacturers in North America. Established 100 years ago and based out of Illinois, they are most famous for producing an array of hair clippers including their renowned Balding Clippers line. The internationally recognized brand is most commonly found among buyers looking for a high-quality product at a reasonable price point. Last year the first white hairs started to grow on my face and I decided to stop styling a beard. I don’t know how it’s gonna be by the age of 40, but by now I tend to prefer to look younger and those white hairs that just appered last year don’t look well. And I say that because usually, these foil shavers (like the Andis ProFoil or the Wahl Finale) are quite aggressive and harsh. I’ll try to share what I think about each of them and hopefully you’ll be able to decide which one would suit you the best.

As long as you don’t press the foils too hard into the skin, most users should be perfectly fine shaving with it. As we’ve seen, this shaver manages to cut the hair really close to the skin which in turn produces a lot of very fine hair dust. So I bought one year ago the Panasonic Arc 5 the aluminum edition and I’m very happy with it. However I think it would be good to have a new shaver and I’m between the Andis resurge and the Babyliss fx2 silver. Its powerful Li-Ion battery ensures you can shave wirelessly for 90 minutes. Another good thing about the battery is it can be fully charged in 120 minutes, and this is because of its fast-charging system. There are so many options available for these things, but they won’t change how well your clippers work! Let’s take a look at each one and review its pros and cons. Wahl Finale Lubricating the cutters (with clipper oil or a spray lubricant) will be beneficial and also reduce the wear and the heat.
