Opening: On the opening it is very citrusy, synthetic, and bright. The citrus lasts only a few seconds however. For the first 10 Minutes the scent is very bitter and harsh, but once it starts to dry, it gets much better. Most of the opening is just Bitter though. Regardless, Chrome Extreme is still a great buy. Honestly think it’s a better offering than ADG Profondo. However, and I hate to say it, there’s a caveat. The projection power of Chrome Extreme is misleading; it pops off my skin and clothes very strongly for the first 2 hours, therefore at first I suspected the fragrance would last at least 7 hours on my skin. Sadly it only lasts 5 hours on skin, but thankfully 8 hours into the wearing I can still get wafts off my clothes. I think Chrome Extreme behaves like a strong EDT more than its declared concentration. It seems that the perfumer(s) of Chrome Extreme didn't dedicate a lot of space in the formula to unnecessary fixatives, opting instead for a higher concentration of high-impact top and middle notes (n.b. Chrome Extreme is of EDP concentration). This is apparent in the fragrance's impressive projection in the initial ~1.5 hrs. Longevity on the other hand is decent on me (~6-7 hrs; improves when applied on clothing), with the last few hours spent close to the skin.

This is a unique take on the classic "blue" fragrance. I would say it's in the same category as ADG Profondo, but they do not smell the same.

I am not a big connoisseur of freshly aquatic fragrances, I find most of them very similar to each other, simplistic with overpowering citruses smell but this one is actually surprisingly nice. 😙 It has a fresh and fruity opening, with mandarin citrus. As the minutes go by, the aroma of lavender increases, giving it a very floral and aromatic characteristic, as well as some amber sweetness. In the drying phase a woody base of pine can be perceived, but it never loses the amber fruity presence. Smell: sweet and fresh. Opens up smelling like melon and cucumber with a bit of orange. Dries down into a fresh aquatic fragrance which has some sharpness similar to YSL Y edp. Has a hint of creaminess but not much, which is a shame. Smells sweet and youthful. A lot of comparisons get made to ADG Profondo, but do not get confused, this is not a clone of that fragrance whatsoever. You'll mostly get the similarities far in the drydown and Profondo has a notable saltiness that Chrome Extreme does not. I'm going to try my best to describe what this reminds me of and trust me this is not a dig at the fragrance. Opening: The opening is a strong synthetic mandarin off the first 10 minutes or so. After that it sweetens up and starts to become a mix of a realistic, bright, mandarin mixed with a sweet and juicy juniper accord right under that. The cashmeran and amber notes are not really felt in the opening. After about 30 minutes it continues to project a juicy mandarin with the cashmeran and salty ocean note resembling AQD Profondo. Opening is 8/10 for the price, mass appealing, unique, and compliment monster after the synthetic quality fades away. Sillage is also pretty "extreme" for the first 30 minutes to an hour.Performance: Projection is low, but when outside shirtless in the sun, performance gets much better. Approx 1ft scent bubble w good silage if outdoors. Longevity is 7-8hrs..

It is amazing. There is a true transition with the top-middle-bass notes, and each one is fantastic. There are dozens of fresh green slash blue showergel frags that are light years better. The best in line would be Extreme which is 95% Profondo just without mineral notes and more fruity but the similarities are spot on to the point that in the air, no one will know if you are wearing Profondo or Chrome Extreme. In the end does it smell good? Absolutely. Does it have the ooomph that the name implies? Definitely. Of the three that I own, this is hands down the best of the trio by a large margin. Then after a few more minutes, the saltiness & the sweet water notes and the amber eventually come thru. It retains this saltiness & the sweet water notes and amber throughout the rest of its journey, along with a musky, powdery nuance.
