About this deal

Silas and Charlie start day 1 not knowing each other and yet being drawn to each other. As the plot unfolds they trace their footsteps over the past two weeks to find out the truth of their disconnect. This may have something to do with me preferring novels and scenarios that could actually happen in real life, so cycles of memory loss seem a bit far-fetched for me and I found it more difficult to connect with the storyline.

Part two had some extremely wild points where I was like thinking to myself, “What is going on right now?!?!?” Part two built up a ton of suspense. It allowed you to try and come up with some theories about what was happening to the main characters. Going into part 3 I was really excited to see how it would all finally play out. What I found interesting about Part 2 is that the main characters are losing their memories for the second time, but the supporting characters are still in the current time. This means that to the other characters, Silas in particular appears mentally unstable. He forgets how to play football… twice. He forgets his name… twice. He’s meeting his younger brother… twice. To the outside world, however, this is just making Silas look more and more unhinged. Part 3 of Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher opens with a bit of an unexpected twist: Silas has not lost his memory this time. He has been reading love letters they’ve written one another throughout the entire story to learn about their relationship. I was excited about the premise (two teenagers who have been best friends since childhood wake up with no memories and have to figure out what happened to them) and the start was promising. Part 2 of Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher begins with Silas and Charlie losing their memories all over again, thereby not knowing anyone they just interacted with in Part 1 and, quite eerily, not even knowing themselves.

Notably, Silas finds a letter and begins to get some clues as to how the two should move forward in a world where everyone surrounding them knows them, yet he and Charlie don’t recognize a single soul or, more concerning, themselves.

Of note, most of this article was written by my friend and freelance writer, a spicy romance reader, and edited by me. Both of us are big Colleen Hoover fans!) Never Never is frankly terrible and feels a bit like a fourteen-year-old's first book. That might sound harsh, but I know what Hoover is capable of, and Never Never is nowhere near her best.We enter this story from Charlie's viewpoint. She suddenly finds herself in a school lesson, unable to recall how she got there. Her entire memory is wiped out. As she tries to make it through the day without getting caught she meets Silas, who - apparently - is her boyfriend. Silas doesn't remember a thing either. Together, they try to figure out what exactly happened and thereby slowly uncover their past bit by bit. Unfortunately, the plot isn't entirely coherent, there is a weird kidnapping subplot that gets dropped, and the ending is a huge let-down. Never Never is basically a heap of wasted potential.

Never Never Series by Colleen Hoover: The Complete Guide

Charlie Wynwood and Silas Nash have been best friends since they could walk. They’ve been in love since the age of fourteen. Terza parte: Confusa, turbata, scombussolata. Ne sono rimasta insoddisfatta e mi sono ritrovata a fine libro con tantissime domande ma troppe poche risposte. Ci sono rimasta male, ma non posso spingermi oltre per evitare spoiler. We begin to see this book turn into more of a mystery/thriller in Part 2. Charlie is not only missing after a night out with Silas at the end of Part 1, but the chapters narrated by her are chilling as they depict her in an institutional setting, being fed unknown medications by a nurse of few words.

The two were not on the best of terms recently in the wake of Charlie’s father going to prison for embezzlement and Silas’s father not wanting the two teens to see one another anymore, blaming Charlie for hiding important documents in the court case to convict her father. The couple fell out of love and began to show the worst sides of themselves. interesting concept. trying to unravel the mystery of these two people losing their memories at the same time. their story is complex They begin to put some pieces together simply by interacting with various people: They learn that they are a couple, that their families seem to have some bad blood, and that they each have one sibling. Part 3 of Never Never by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher concludes with Silas and Charlie realizing that the common factor that causes them to lose their memories is not loving the other person.

not CoHos best work by any means, and i wonder if thats because theres the influence of a co-author. Il problema è dovuto agli ENORMI buchi di trama e non sto parlando di piccoli dettagli ma di parti importanti. This had a really interesting premise, if not so much of a great execution. Two teenagers who seem to have forgotten all of their memories must work together to find out how their pasts are connected and how to regain what's been lost. There's a lot of secrets and lies, family drama and broken promises. What they begin to remember about themselves they don’t like and it’s up to both of them to change how their future will be.

If the second chance trope was a book it would be this one. What better way to start fresh than to lose all your memories and try to rebuild your relationship with your childhood best friend? The Never Never series would appeal to fans of young adult romance, romantic suspense, and young adult fantasy and paranormal romance.
