About this deal

There is no dedicated A-RGB controller provided with the cooler. There is no hub provided with the cooler either. The terminal connectors are 4-pin PWM and 3-pin, 5V, and A-RGB ones. The A-RGB lighting is compatible with: The increased cooling challenges posed by Raptor Lake mean that we’ve had to change some of the ways we test coolers. Some coolers were able to pass Cinebench R23 multicore testing with Intel’s 12th Gen i9-12900K when power limits were removed (although only the strongest models were able to pass that test). Most liquid coolers and all air coolers I’ve tested “failed” that test because the CPU reached TJ max in this scenario. With a total system noise level of 43.4 dBA, the LT520’s noise levels aren’t quite what I would consider “silent”, but it doesn’t run loud in any sense of the word at all. Conclusion This new architecture will have a direct impact on the appearance of the CPU, as Alder Lake features an Oct 18th 2023 Lian Li Introduces Premium CPU Coolers Powered by Asetek's Most Advanced Liquid Cooling Technology to Date (4)

While most AIOs on the market are based on Asetek designs, DeepCool’s AIOs use a 4th generation pump designed in house by DeepCool. It utilizes a 3-phase drive motor which runs at up to 3100RPM, and features an improved microchannel design for better coolant flow vs previous generation products. Image Source: DeepCool Fans While stress testing in Cinebench, I run both with power limits removed and with an enforced 200W CPU power limit. In this test setup using MSI’s z690 A Pro DDR4 Motherboard and Be Quiet’s Silent Base 802 Computer Case. Only the best coolers are able to pass Cinebench testing when power limits are removed. We are thankful to DeepCool for providing the testing unit. Awards Received By The Deepcool LT520 Cooler will be more powerful than previous generations through the use of high-performance efficient cores. This means that coolers that kept previous generation products like the i9-10900K nice and cool sometimes struggle to keep Intel's i9-12900K under Tj max–the top temperature before the CPU starts to throttle. Many coolers, including DeepCool’s last generation CASTLE EX AIOs, failed to keep the i9-12900K under TJ max when power limits are removed in workloads like Cinebench and OCCT when I’ve tested them. Dropping the power consumption of the CPU causes the noise of the LT520’s fans to drop ~5 dBA vs full speed noise levels, bring the noise measurement down to 48 dBA. The 240mm liquid cooler comes in a box that uses molded cardboard, foam, and plastic for the protection of the inner contents.

The cooler is an AIO and has no clearance issue for the RAM and PCIe slot. However, make sure that your case supports 240mm AIO. The dimension of the radiator without fans is 282x120x27mm (LxWxH). With fans, the dimension is 282x120x53mm (height is increased). Performance Benchmarks most notably is no longer square, but rectangular. While this new generation of Intel CPUs promises even Tier 2: These coolers are able to keep the i9-12900K under the TJ max threshold with CPU power limits of 200W enforced. I expect most liquid coolers and the best air coolers to meet this standard.DeepCool does not warrant that this product will meet customer's requirements. It is customer's responsibility to determine the suitability of this product.
