I was adamant I would never cook or clean or have children or wear dresses or any of that because that is what stereotypes expect of women. She strives to provide a nourishing home for all who enter but may forget to nourish her own spirit in the process. The 103 third parties who use cookies on this service do so for their purposes of displaying and measuring personalized ads, generating audience insights, and developing and improving products. That’s why I thought I would expand on this theme and give you a little bit more in-depth information about some of my favorite resources in particular.

It’s something that just happened naturally – I never actually chose to infuse magic into my domesticity, it is something that I just did without thinking about it. Cooking and cleaning, changing nappies (diapers), talking in non-existent baby languages became central to my existence. In addition to their kitchen cookbooks, they will own books that name the magickal properties of foods and magickal cooking methods. Many hearth witches (myself included) don’t follow any particular religion, or consider ourselves “generic pagan”.

Join Anna Franklin, bestselling author of The Hearth Witch's Compendium, as she shares time-honored recipes and step-by-step instructions for bringing enchantment and joy into your life. My path involves embodying the divine feminine, an energy of inner groundedness and radiance that comes from tending my Hearth Flame within and without. It provides practical advice for celebrating the whole cycle―not just the eight sabbats―with rituals, meditations, projects, and invocations to help you discover the magical rhythms of the natural world. The book is broken down into three sections: the first deals with the practicalities of making tinctures, syrups, teas, vinegars, and so on; the second takes a detailed look at several common kitchen herbs and their uses (both magical and medicinal); and the third is a collection of appendices which would be super useful for quick reference. The book can be divided roughly into three sections: food and drink, home life, and herbs/essential oils.

It gives great info on the foods and drinks used for ceremony and holidays that are quite easy to make.

Keep whatever serves your happiness, but get rid of anything that is never used, collecting dust, broken, or saps your energy.
