About this deal

The Like Us series is a true series, one continuous timeline, that follows a family of wealthy celebrities and the people that protect them. the first “spice” scene - I have no words. Idk what I was on when I read this the first time bc . . 💀💀💀 why did I not even mention how weird it was?!??? I mean okay yeah it’s VERY on brand with the couple and it was so sweet how he let her express herself but they were too “out of this world” Iykyk lol. It's still sadly not on the same level as the Calloway Sisters series, but I like their writing. I liked other characters, and those other characters are ultimately the reason why I read this. I'm hoping that with the change of POVs I'll like the next books more. And there's progression between several of the bodyguards and their clients...some pretty noticeable and some on the sly. Jane and Thatcher's book, Tangled Like Us, is up next and boy, do they have a tough act to follow. Marrow has just set the bar so high!

I’ve only been thinking of my life, but…this could destroy so many other people, too. Legacies imploding…because of me. now, did i already mention that our dear krb are queens of unnecessary drama?? because now all core six’s legacies will be destroyed, because someone leaked luna’s smut stories from the fan fiction app😗😝. My answer: GIRLLLLLL READ THE ADDICTED SERIES. NOW. I know, I know - there are a lot of books. But you will not regret one minute of it. It remains my all-time favorite series and every time I think about it, I wish that I could spend an eternity with the characters. I cannot stress enough how unique and amazing the writing is, and how it has made me feel these fictional characters were real life people who have buried themselves in my heart. With Krista & Becca's writing, you feel all of the characters’ pain, the joy, the love; their highest of highs and their lowest of lows. This is Donnelly of the Starfleet Optima,” he says into the radio. “Classification: Bounty Hunter. Log 010.” VenusQ: I bet her boyfriends will distract her. Last Olympics, she was single. This one, she’s a MESS. Messiness isn’t getting gold #sorrynotsorryI skipped the last three books, and I'm not sorry about it. But even the books that came before, with the exception of Maximoff and Farrow's books, have just been ok. Nothing spectacular. Chapter 44: Maximoff and Farrow are hiking near the lake house when Maximoff tells Farrow for the first time that he loves him. Farrow says he loves him too. What will this do to them? Their businesses? I’ve written some raunchy stories about space bounty hunters and otherworldly species that won’t be good for Halway Comics, Hale Co., Superheroes & Scones…not to mention I’m the niece to Connor and Rose. How is this going to affect Calloway Couture and Cobalt Inc.? now now now did i expect to rate it so low? no but this was DRY af. no sexual tension, no angst, no drama. NO NOTHING. even loren wasnt much of a douche? like i wanted SO MUCH DRAMA of him saying no to donnelly but we didn’t even get that??????? LOREN is OKAY WITH THEM DATING? wtf ???? in what world. I don't think there is anything wrong with this book. I enjoyed catching up with my favorite characters. But I also noticed that I'm just not that into this series anymore.

What I love about this couple is that no matter what happens they come together and lean on each other. There is no insecurities on where they stand with one another and this entire book was a perfect example of how true that statement is. Them being able to be open with no fear brought them closer to one another. Their struggles made their connection stronger. It's been a few days and I've been trying to formulate my thoughts about this book and how I could write a review without spoiling things and I've come to the conclusion that I really can't. So I'm going to keep this short and sweet. The emotions were high for me. The Lo & Donnelley chapters had me in a chokehold 😭🔫 I’m so attached to this whole family it’s unreal.Maximoff is having his own struggles that if I was to list would give so much away and I am not a spoiler kind of person. I will say he is afloat and trying to figure out his next move for his future. He is having some major guilt about Farrow's life becoming so public and having his personal information released.

Yet, the more they try to stay away, the more the universe has other plans. Nowhere in Luna’s wildest imagination could she have predicted what happens next. Damaged Like Us is my first book from the Ritchies (Krista Ritchie and Becca Ritchie) and I really struggled with it. This gripping story follows Maximoff Hale, a charismatic alpha billionaire from a famous family, and his unconventional life as an American royalty. When Maximoff is assigned a new 24/7 bodyguard, Farrow Keene, he finds himself facing the ultimate temptation. He’s usually pretty much like this around me. Short sentences. In a hurry. But he never makes me feel like I’m an embarrassment. The only thing standing in the way from more stars is the main couple. Moffy is absolutely precious, but three books later and Farrow is still very meh. His "IDGAF about anything" and "the rule don't apply to me" attitude just isn't for me. Kinney. I LOVE KINNEY. She is so badass and confident (but also vulnerable). Love her. She’s hilarious. Damaged Like Us” is a great novel with powerful stories and characters that bring smiles, tears, love, care, war, and all the emotions for readers and make them feel they are very engaging in the story. Krista Ritchie is the author of this novel. This author is a master in bringing all of the stories together and throwing in a surprise ending. The author’s style is charismatic and entertaining, even if a bit self-indulgent. The novel masterfully builds the tension until it reaches a fever pitch as the author finally begins putting the various pieces of the puzzle into place. Jane slides over the dirty martini. “Here, Sulli,” she says. “I’ve named this drink You Can’t Say No To A Stubborn Maximoff.” Chapter 42: Maximoff, Farrow, Jane and Quinn are at the lake house while the rumor dies down. Maximoff has handed all control of H.M.C. Philanthropies to the COO for two days. Jane, Farrow and Maximoff talk about a tabloid about the two cousins with the headline 'Damaged Like Us'.
