About this deal

More surprisingly, despite being the fourth book by Susi Holliday that I’ve read, it’s also the first one of those set in her native country. Trust me, don't ever think you've worked this one out, because if you do, I'll be very very surprised. The amount of money they had to spend to even build all those fancy houses seemed a lot more expensive than just putting people in homes that were already built. When Ginny and Cat, sisters travel with their husbands into the idyllic Swiss Alps for a hiking vacation, it is not only an opportunity to take in all of the stunning scenery. You get those electric things in kitcens to fy them to death, or those sticky strips to trap their wings, and there’s that horrible toxic spray that’s probably responsible for a lot more damage to humans than anyone has ever looked into.

Anna and Peter start to doubt themselves, and are wondering what other secrets are hidden in The Street. Then there's the fact that at least one of the couples in the program were relocated to a place VERY CLOSE to where they had lived previously. Conniving women, regardless of how much THEY think they have been mistreated, do NOT deserve to get away with it! And maybe a bit of fun with Lars might not be a bad thing… A fling with a people trafficing, drug barron might be just the thing. They have a lot of fun their first night, have dinner together and lots of drinks, and then go their separate ways.

Which man and woman made it back to the police station and how are they going to explain exactly what's happened? I’ve always been a fan of this authors books but she has seriously knocked it out of the park with this one.

Personally, though, I dislike violent thriller endings, but I know other readers may not share my aversion. terribly written characters who throughout the book make stupid decisions andlie to themselves/reader to confuse the reader( but clumsy written so not as cool as it sounds) just sucks. The first small issue, and the only one of its kind in the whole book that I noticed, is that in one paragraph it says that Anna threw a piece of paper (that had been a message left on her door by a neighbor) on the floor. It's impossible for her to relax on the street, but is she just being paranoid, or does she have reason to be suspicious? Susi Holliday grew up close to Edinburgh and spent a number of years working in her family’s newsagent and pub before studying statistics and microbiology. Amelia gets invited to an all-expenses-paid retreat on a private island, the mysterious offer is too good to pass up.
