About this deal

For me it is a starting point rather than the only book you need, because for my personal taste I’ve found more recipes that I’m excited to try in the other one ending in Kitchen. This informative FODMAP diet plan book and cookbook is the latest book from the highly recommended FODMAP diet coach Suzanne Perazzini.

The Two-Step Low-FODMAP Diet and Recipe Book details the two-phase program of the Low FODMAP diet that helps readers implement the diet by restricting high FODMAP foods, then gradually re-introducing in a carefully planned approach, some foods to help identify the TYPE and AMOUNT of FODMAPs that each reader with IBS can tolerate. This book is authored by Mollie Tunitsky, a fellow IBS sufferer, and Gabriela Gardener, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who has extensive experience of the low FODMAP diet. If you have a dietary intolerance and sometimes feel you’re missing out on foods you’d love to eat, this book is for you. Lovers of all things sweet and decadent are not forgotten as there are many lovely snacks and desserts offered to make the seven days a treat.

I credit Patsy for my positive experiences with my IBS, and with beginning a lifelong plan of healthy and happy eating.

This book also has the nutritional information for each recipe which I think is super helpful when planning my meals for the week. Megan gives a very clear explanation about how your gut works, what the gut bacteria and microbes do in your gut and what their influence is on your gut health. Monash University Low FODMAP: The Cookbook features a selection of fresh, nutritional, and FODMAP-friendly ingredients to create vibrant, easy-to-prepare recipes from global cuisines.Lowering the intake of FODMAPs in the diet can lead to substantial - many would say, miraculous - improvement in symptoms. Catering to individuals sensitive to certain carbohydrates, these menus offer a range of delectable dishes that ensure gastronomic delights without digestive distress.

Well, stress can be a massive IBS trigger, causing symptoms to worsen and sometimes causing a flare-up on its own. Having struggled for 4 years to pinpoint digestive issues and tried to self-manage restricting food groups to identify the problem and failed, this has been life changing and have seen results in a matter of days. There are quite some cookbooks available that say that they are suitable for the low FODMAP diet, but that is not always true and some cookbooks contain old / incorrect information.
