We are a big fan of board games in this house, when it comes to choosing a board game we look for something that will keep the children’s attention. Set the game up by fitting Granny’s dentures in place and pushing her back into a reclining position and watch her fall asleep. REWARDING PLAY – First player to match the card to Granny’s face is rewarded with a different number of toy cookies which helps encourage counting.

Greedy Granny is a very enjoyable and fun family board game for children to enjoy time and time again as no one knows when Granny will shoot off her teeth next! To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Monkey has loved playing Greedy Granny, and seeing if he can beat me to grab the biscuits before Granny wakes up.The biscuits don’t all fit on the tray well either so they do fly everywhere when she wakes up and her teeth fly out of her mouth!

There are 4 types of biscuits on the tray and the aim of the game is to collect each type of biscuit. When I was at Toy Fair at the beginning of the year I got to see a number of toys and games that would be released in the run up to Christmas.

The aim of the game might sound easy but one wrong move and you could wake up granny and her teeth will go flying. If you spin and land on green, you take a biscuit from the tray and press the purple button on Granny’s chair the number of times shown. First player to match the card to Granny’s face is rewarded with a different number of toy cookies which helps encourage counting - The player with the most cookies wins!

My son has outgrown the game now, so it has been passed on to a local school otherwise I’d send you a photo to show how it looked.
