Ok so this is a general review of the Harden vol 6 after three months of heavy use in both indoors and outdoor dusty courts. I’m a 5’7 147 lb (67 kg) PG/SG. I shoot a ton of midranges, so a lot of hard stops and pull ups. I also drive to the rim occasionally. The side of the shoes has a nice caging on the heel and midfoot area so there would not be any issue with lateral movements. The midfoot area has enough padding to support the Arch issue. The soft and plush cushioning is very supportive on the hardwood floors. It provides the best impact protection and energy return. You will feel super protected during the crazy high jumps. it gives incredible energy return. Cushion 8.5/10: for those of you who like boost or have used boost before, you will like this set up. Think of it like the Harden volume 1. It’s basically the same. Great for impact protection and decent energy return. It’s not bouncy as Bounce (pun intended) but it gets the job done. Adidas Harden Vol. 6 has some very impressive designs and dope colourways. The designer has done a good job of making great shoes from recycled content. However, the lighter tones get dirt easily but the shape and looks are very cool. So the material on Adidas Harden vol. 6 is flexible and very soft so it takes minimal time to break in. The support and stability pattern in Adidas Harden vol. 6 is awesome. James Hardens 6th signature shoes are equally great for regular basketball players as well as the one who needs planter facilities in their basketball shoes. The shoe has a very hard internal TPU heel counter. That supports the heel and Achillies area very well. The internal sides of the heel have six Achillies pads to provide extra comfort to the stiff Achilles tendon. Very wide feet basketball players may feel it snug in the toe box as it is not too wide in the forefoot area. But overall, a true-to-size shoe is the best fit. Looks / Appearance/ Colorways: Traction on the harden vol. 6 is so good that it does not even slip on a wet floor. However, the rubber outsole gets dirty on the outdoor courts very easily. The look of the material is not so premium. It looks cheap and in many colourways, it gets dirty very easily. Also, it has a Harden branding logo just above the laces that looks cool. Durability 9/10: which takes me to the second point: durability seems to be great after three months. the traction pattern on the outsole doesn’t seem to have any significant damage considering I am a shifty player that drives aggressively to the rim and makes a lot of hard stops. The rubber seems it’s going to last for a while. However it’s not a 10 since I’m not sure I could say the same about the materials on the upper Weight 7.5/10*: at first glance this may seem like the weakest attribute of the shoe. Harden shoes have been known to be medium to heavy. However, the weight on the scale doesn’t translate to how it feels on feet. These feel lighter and more comfortable than other shoes with the same weight. Not Kyrie-like light but they are great considering they have full length boost. Bear in mind I weigh 67 kg (147 lbs) so I doubt you’ll have any issues.
