At the center of KeyStep 37’s interface we’ve added 4 new control knobs with a screen, giving you instant access to inspiring new expressive tools and MIDI tweaking – total control. You can also use the assignable 16 MIDI CC parameters (working across 4 switchable banks) to fully unlock the potential of your MIDI software and hardware. These are Chord Strum, which will space notes in a chord out to emulate a guitar-like picking, and Velocity to Notes, which allows users to adjust the velocity for individual notes in a chord. The original KeyStep 32 has a basic chords feature where you can capture a chord shape that you’re holding, then play it with single keys.
