About this deal

I do have to say the first bottle I had of this seemed slightly different / bolder (color of the bottle, and the juice), so not sure if by the time I needed a new bottle there was a reformulation or small design change. There is a cool aquatic note that makes this more unisex than feminine, and it's a bit sour, not coming from any citrus note but I think from the apricot blossom and peony combination.

It's so different than what I expected, I wonder if I got a counterfeit or a bottle that's gone off. Longevity is pretty good will last most of the day, but a few hours in you can tell it will gets more closer to the skin. I blind bought it when it went on sale at Christmas to complete my little Britney collection, but unfortunately when I tried it, it smelled like OFF bug spray. As for the packaging, my bottle was recently produced (2017) and there is no photo of Britney on the inside. I'm usually not a big fan of Britney's fragrances from her 'Fantasy' series because I find many of them to be a bit too sweet and heavy that I wouldn't wear them, even though I do still like the smell of some of them.

On other days, it's very sickly sweet and makes me feel like I'm in high school and it's a bad vibe.

My skin amplifies the wood note, so compared to it smelling like a fair grounds as others have described, I get a woody, citrus fragrance with hints of sweet raspberry and floral notes. This to me isn't super candy sweet - it's more like a crisp fresh apricot which I feel like gives it that citrus like tinge, the essence of orchid, and then like a powdery type sweet scent all put together. This perfume could also be read as "youthful," and maybe it's too young for me at 40, but I'm going to wear it during the warm months this year. I sprayed it without much thought and later kept getting the most delicious wafts of an icey raspbery fragrance. But from that point on, Amor Amor develops into creamier, smoother musky fruity floral notes whereas Circus Fantasy retains a powdery tang right into the 3 hour mark. The lasting power is very weak roughly about 30 minutes max on my clothing and 15 minutes on my skin. I often catch myself smelling what others smell based on reviews instead of letting my own nose detect everything for me. I wish so much that this smelled sweet, spicy, and citrusy on me, but unfortunately all I get is florals. Finally your hidden fantasy comes to life with Mexican vanilla bean, jacaranda and sandalwood enhanced with radiant amber. Not sure what they were trying to clone, but they achieved raspberry saturation with that one - also recommended.

I'm just saying that this one can be worn from a more grown up woman as well, if they are interested in a perfume like this. Alcohol, Parfum, Water, Limoene, Pentaerythrityl, Tetra-di-t, Butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamaate, Benzyl Slaicylate, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Cinnamyl Alcolhol, Citral, Geranoil, Hexyl Cinnamal, Isoeugenol, Linalool, Butyl Methoxydiebenzoylmethane, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate. This one is very strongly citrus (and I get some red fruit, which isn’t mentioned in the scent pyramid) in the initial spray. Don't get me wrong, it's super yummy, and I have found myself reaching for it a lot this January when I'm craving a little aromatic pick-me-up. It follows the same sweet, juvenile trend that the other Fantasy perfumes have, but has a slightly different theme to the scent.Circus Fantasy used to smell like a fairytale raspberries and apricot and phantom lemon (even though lemon wasn’t ever a note) lemonade fizzy pop juice that faded to clean florals and finally finishing with violet candy.

These are different, but I can see why they've been compared, as there is a striking similarity with red-currant. It goes close to the skin within the hour, and I struggle to detect anything within two/three hours. I recommend it if you just want to smell extremely clean and fresh, or you need to spritz something on your clothes to refresh them. The bottle is visually my least favourite of the ones I have but the smell of Circus Fantasy, for me, is the best. You’re supposed to cut up oranges and mix them with pie spices and boil it and let it bless your house.

Hidden fantasy's come alive with a burst of sweet orange and tangerine lying intimately alongside delicate grapefruit blossoms and French flowering verbena. Reveal your innermost fantasies with the Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy Eau de Parfum, a seductive fragrance for women with gourmand facets.
