About this deal

The display panel on the Barista Pro is very simple and easy to use and also, gives you the option to manually control the espresso shot to your desired level so that you get the same personalised shot every time. Coming from a Nespresso, I’d no clue just how much water would go in there so I’m really glad to have the bigger one over the Bambino Plus.

The Barista Pro ™ is equipped to heat your milk up to 130°C with its powerful steam wand that injects hot steam into your milk to give it the right temperature and a very interactive interface that allows you to see all the information you need to make the perfect coffee and gives you the ability to choose between 1 and 2 espresso shots or manually control the perfect shot for your needs.Offering barista quality performance, the Sage Barista Pro machine brings home espresso drinkers hands-on control. Faster Heat-Up Time: Innovative ThermoJet heating system achieves the optimum extraction temperature in 3 seconds with instantaneous transition from espresso to steam. So I'm not just sharing what others have said about these machines, or rehashing other people's opinions, I'm telling you the opinion I've formed based on my experience with these machines. Youll be making latte art in no time and wont have to worry about the clean up as it has an auto clean function.

The only difference relating to espresso quality is that the pro does have more adjustments (30 vs 18), so it does mean you have a slightly finer adjustment, and a bit more ability to dial in. This, for me, is a big thing, because it means you don't have to faff around using the scales as a timer. Once the coffee is ready to be poured, it is delivered through a stainless steel portafilter which helps to create a dense and bold flavour. You don't need to go mad with it, you will probably find that with new burrs with no wear if you just take it down to five, you'll be absolutely fine.It is the highest of the SCA barista qualifications (Foundation, Intermediate and Professional), suitable for baristas with extensive experience and only after taking the Intermediate qualification. If you were looking for a machine to take away some of the skill requirements, this is what the Express Impress is about, but I'll get to that a bit later in this post.
