About this deal

Now, that's okay since it's not marketed as such, however, I did have high hopes for the end of this series given how strong the first 2 books were. it would make sense if we were given more of a resigned (but still present love) than what we got from her which was nothing until the end. Not to mention the plot was EXTREMELY predictable and the inclusion of Cora’s brother Lucien was SO unnecessary.

Breeding kink (no children thank the lord), Age Gap, Corrupt Hero, Pierced Pi Pi and EVERYTHING I NEVER KNEW I NEEDE. ALSO i loveddddddd how he would so openly love her aaahh love when the hero worships the hoe like she hung the stars. I could have loved it, given how much I loved Alastair and his beautiful, dirty mouth and how much he revered Cora. Alistair and Cora meet one random night at a bar he owns and he notices her taking the waitress’s tips.

The only reasons I’m giving it 4/5 stars is because there were some confusing moments for me as a reader that just didn’t tie in together super smooth. I’ve loved you since the second you walked into my life, and I’ll love you every second after, until I have no more to love you with. Overall, I did liked the plot premise and the overall set up This book definitely had me more intrigued than the last.

For years, I watched every person he came into contact with latch on to the goodness inside him and drain him of it, taking it for themselves when they inevitably moved on. This man was unhinged for this woman, there would be moments of him just thinking odd things such as: “𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬 𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘪𝘣 𝘤𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘧𝘧 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦, 𝘴𝘰 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥.

there was a plot twist wannabe at the end, but how can there be a plot twist when there’s no plot at all? Among other glaringly red flags, these two intelligent people should have seen him coming from a mile away. every time something happened to cora i swear it would be brushed off or forgotten, like nothing even happened. By using the Web site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. the marshal being written as one of the main mlm characters and being the villian is weird to me idk.

every time i read her books i swear the female characters do nothing for me, i can never connect with them. We met Alistair Wolfe in the previous book, Oaths and Omissions (his brother Jonas’s book) so I was so hyped to read his book and see what kind of trouble he gets into. In saying that, my job is to see if there is any connection throughout the writing to the specified ancient mythology at all.I wish Sav would’ve worked on this more because truthfully I feel like this book was rushed and the pacing and poor developing of the plot shows it😐. Right, let's begin by saying that this book is NOT marketed as a retelling, however, is noted as being inspired by the myth of Apollo and Daphne. This had both English and Spanish of the "title" and "edition" as well as some descriptions on the back. By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file. I’d guess hostess perhaps, if the frown on her face didn’t seem permanently etched, like that of a marble statue.

They left the hollow, dried-out husk, and no one ever bothered to teach him how to get that goodness back. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. i understand having it written in the sense that the reader experiences some of what the mc feels but it’s to the point that i didn’t even know if he was alive until the actual end. Some people, though, never say anything new or different, so making sentences becomes less about the accuracy and more about context. It’s the fourth book in the Monsters and Muses series and it’s based on the story of Apollo and Daphne.

Now, despite her disdain for the dirty politician, she's entwined their lives so tight that escape seems unlikely. God doesn’t get on his knees to worship”…”You’re in bed with the devil, m’eudail, and I don’t think he intends on letting you go. She didn’t expect her new boss to be the hot, British stranger she hooked up with the night before her interview, or for him to be so brazen with his desires. I always think that the plot of these books isn't the strongest part, but it was entertaining to keep me invested. Sure, Cora doesn't like Alistair much, but that's not akin to the mythology - that's more so a common romance trope lots of readers love.
