For those seeking more than just a scent, but an experience, Black Afgano promises a journey into the deeper realms of self and sensation. Like the rest of the Nasomatto extraits, it is highly concentrated, but BA wears closer to the skin than Nudiflorum for example. Not sure if my bottle is just not the best, or they no longer offer the best atomizers in the business. I don't know maybe it was Corona madness lol, but next year when I smelled it again, I was like "how it in the hell did I ever like this perfume?

The comments about "beast mode", "insane perfomance" and "a quarter spray will choke everyone around you" is mostly regurgitations of what people said about this fragrance in its first few years on the market.

I really like the quality of the oud in both creations, definitely they are not paired with the typical animalitic and leathery notes. Nose proposes an olfactive diagnosis where 5 perfumes will be proposed among a list of 500 curated ones. It’s more pleasant than I would have expected based on how reviewers speak of this fragrance, but I think this is good, just not my cup of tea. After all the reviews i watched, all they hype and hate i read, and all the debate online regarding the reformulation etc, i finally bit the bullet and got this one. The coffee, medicinal oud, sweet raspberry, cola, slightly honeyed tobacco, and nutty, leathered labdanum are all still there, but they’ve lost some of their edge and distinctiveness.

Alesandro Gualtiéri succeeds in taking us on a journey where the lingering notes of cannabis mingle with the freshness of green notes in the top; tobacco and coffee in the heart; resins, woody notes of oud and incense in the bottom. Leans extremely masculine, id only recommend this for a women if she's in a leather jacket partying giving off a fun baddie vibe, or hardcore hipster. After that, the incense and smoke come through with a slightly funky oud that could smell like cannabis but it's missing the bitter terpenes of cannabis. Longlasting, two drops goes a looong way, excellent sillage, be careful so people don´t think you actually have smoked some really good sh*t!
