I was anxious to get my hands on this compilation of her years of teaching and wisdom all in one, accessible package. The conversation about transformation at the heart of all stance work challenges readers to consider how the tendency to be dependent, withdrawing, or aggressive impacts our encounters with others. She offers practical guidance for navigating relationships, fostering empathy, and fostering healthy connections based on an understanding of each other’s Enneagram types.What was uniquely helpful in this book was to understand my default responses to stress and to discover that I have options and am not stuck with the default. Stabile provides practical exercises and tools for self-reflection, such as journaling, mindfulness practices, and engaging in honest conversations with trusted individuals. For me, this an intermediate level Enneagram resource - best for folks who know their numbers and have started digging into what that means.

In Sarah Moon's book, Journey to Wholeness, you will embark on a journey of self-reflection and transformation. Through expanded Enneagram teaching, poignant stories, challenging questions, and relevant best practices, Suzanne Stabile expertly guides us in the truth that life can be wildly complex, but that does not mean it needs to be complicated. For those who have already been introduced to the Enneagram and are familiar with their number, this is an excellent resource to guide you into deeper Enneagram work. So, if meeting in person is not possible with your schedule or not yet available in your area, you can choose online. But just when you feel a little TOO seen :), there's also encouragement for each of us to just take the next step.As an Enneagram Six, I so appreciated the invaluable deep dive into the Thinking Triad and Dependent Stance teachings. She masterfully guides the reader through each stance, then each type within the stance, and does so by graciously pointing out where our imbalances come from. I also found the personal stories, anecdotes, and practical tips included throughout to be very helpful as they flesh out the more academic portions of the book. As Margo heals and grows, she’ll come to understand that her wholeness doesn't depend on anyone else.

We are separated with such precision that it almost seems natural, especially since it's all we’ve known for so long. The Journey Towards Wholeness” introduces readers to the Enneagram, a powerful system for understanding personality types and motivations. She offers advice in the form of “Transformative Possibilities” for each type, along with questions to ponder. If we are to become more intentional and conscious, kindness and honesty are two of the most important qualities we need for the journey of our soul.Pain and discomfort is your body’s way of telling you that something isn’t right, and needs attention. In The Journey Toward Wholeness, perhaps her most ambitious project to date, she wove her love of a good story with her passion for the Enneagram and produced a work that students and practitioners alike will find both readable and challenging. They have been interwoven into history, shaping not just ourselves but the world around us for centuries. This book was an excellent resource to dive further into the knowledge that the Enneagram can provide.
