About this deal

The wire is flat and pretty flimsy, and I have read reports that its more prone to breakage so you might have to be a little more careful with these headphones. The finish is smooth and didn’t seem to cause too much microphonics. Although the JBL T110 are part of the budget line, JBL has not cheaped out on quality materials and design.

The T110 are wired earphones from 2016 and manufactured by JBL. You have incontestably heard of them before - the music that is being blasted at public parks are presumably from their Bluetooth loudspeakers. Dynamic headphones like the T110 use electromagnetic drivers that change its signals into soundwaves and many listeners with dynamic headphones point out that they are more realistic feeling than the others. The range of bass, mids and treble are outlined with the word frequency response. Ideally, you need both numbers to be as apart as possible from each other for voluminous sound delivery. Although you should keep in mind that a greater coverage doesn't assure delightful audio quality. At 20 - 20.000 Hz, the T110 is just like most earpieces. It is the usual range and it brings a pleasant performance. Possibly Customisable Fit We put the JBL T110 under our extreme bass test and they were able to handle 45% of the maximum power of a Fiio E12 portable amplifier (amplifier set to high gain, bass boost on and using a custom basshead equalizer). The test resulted in a slight basshead impact and rumble, pretty respectable for such a budget and small iem, you can expect a basshead performance way above the KZ ATE, Xiaomi Mi Pro HD and the Remax RM-565i but below the smaller brother the JBL C100SI and way below some heavyweights as the Sony MDR-XB50AP, Pioneer SE-CX8, Pioneer SE-CX9, Vots QT100, Sony MDR-7550/800ST, Plextone X41M or Senfer 4in1. The in-line mic is basic with a single on/off call button, but is still a nice inclusion for how cheap the T110 is. One potential issue with the T110 is that I had to turn the volume up on my device considerably more than I normally do to get it to adequate listening volume. The sensitivity rating is 96, which is pretty low even for cheap earbuds. The impedance is a mere 16 ohms so any device should power these no problem, but some might wish they could get louder. The size is similar to the Sennheiser CX200 , JBL C100SI , Somic MH403, sort of near to some microdriver earphones such as the Remax RM-565i, UiiSii Hi-705, KZ HDS3 and way smaller than some standard sized earphones such as the Xiaomi Mi Quantie Pro Hybrid , Xiaomi Mi Pro HD , Plextone X41M, KZ EDR2, Elephone E1 or the Songful F2. The housing of the T110 is very small and made of plastic but feels solid and well finished, the cable is flat tangle-free and robust with an inline microphone and 1 button control, the stereo plug has a less often 45° degree.

The JBL are able to warm up sound and provide enough energy to music without making the whole sound muddy or too congested. The JBL T110 have a very fun bass response, mid-bass is punchy and energetic and even sub-bass has pretty good depth. The JBL are able to warm up sound and provide enough energy to music without making the whole sound muddy or too congested. For the ones that worry about smashing their pristine earpieces, the carry pouch of the T110 should make it a basic remedy - just put the T110 in it and forget the rest. T110: Price UK The T110s are advertised as “pure” bass on the box but the sound signature definitely seemed flat/neutral with perhaps a slight bass emphasis and small downward slope towards the highs, but nothing above the bass seemed recessed.JBL/Harman offers a one year warranty on the T110, which is comparatively average coverage for cheaper headphones. Overall Take, As Compared To The Competition An EQ can be used to feed the bass of the JBL T110 , we don’t think they need it but it is up to your preferences, as a result bass gets noticeably stronger but everything else gets recessed (mids and vocals, mostly) The quoted response range of the T110 is 20 – 20k Hz, which is comparatively average, but the bass sounded quite good and full and belied the mediocre response floor on paper. Drops came in nicely and didn’t lose pitch or volume. The bass was slightly muddy and bled up and distracted on a few songs, but that’s really the only shortfall I noticed while listening to these.
