About this deal

All the parts are of good quality, but if you use the headphone for a long time, you might need to change or replace many parts. As the drivers might start creating distortion and rumbling sound, or the headset might become loose. But the good thing is you can replace those parts without any hassle. Sound Quality Thanks to the open construction, the stage has a lot of space in the width, but it is somewhat limited in the vertical. This means that the sound information is displayed in a somewhat compressed form when compared with the AKG K/Q701, for example. However, this gives the HD6XX a pleasant intimacy and it has a robust foundation. In the way of raw fidelity, the HD6xx scales so much with superior gear that it makes it the better overall value for audiophiles. The HD58x is the better value for casual listeners who don’t have an expensive rig. More importantly: in addition to critical listening for fun and relaxation, I use these every day for work as a composer/sound designer. I need a fairly neutral, accurate sound with very high attention to detail and precise imaging. After listening to one slow ambient song, that usually felt ominous and intense as the plodding bass increased in energy feel pleasant and mild, that sealed the fate of the HD6xx as being labeled unengaging by me.

A vintage Marshall amplifier head can help create the perfect sound in the bass and midrange levels. If you are an audiophile, you might long for good detail and presence which will include all the instrumental textures and timbres, which are provided by this headphone. All in all , despite of the cheap price . 6xx is at most a mediocre headphones. I would not recommend this at all .And there is another problem. As discussed earlier, it isn’t good enough for mobile phones. But for also portability reasons you might want to use it with computers only. So if you only want to use a headphone in your room to enjoy music with great sound quality, then this is for you.

An AMC Plus free trial does exist, and like a Disney Plus free trial, it’s good for seven days of access to the entire library of content. AMC Plus’ content includes favorites like The Walking Dead, Dark Winds, and Moonhaven. It also gives you access to thousands of hours of incredible movies, ready to watch whenever you are. An AMC Plus free trial also gets you seven days of access to the best content BBC America, IFC, and Sundance TV have to offer and full access to Shudder, Sundance Now, and IFC Films Unlimited. As HD6XX is an upgrade from HD650, it might have some upper hand, but both are great in their own ways. So, you can choose any of them for your audio needs. They won’t disappoint for sure if you deeply care for audio quality.

It’s easy to regard the HD 6XX’s sound signature as just another dynamic-driven headphone, bringing with it traits that often have audiophiles drawing lines in the sand between those who love a drop of pleasing warmth in their sonic coffee, and those who demand near-clinical dedication to the recording as it was originally rendered. However, what is so pleasing about the HD 6XX (and the 650 before them) is that these headphones offer a pleasant mixture of each, for a best-of-both-worlds scenario. Bill Roberson/Digital TrendsSummary – HD6XX has a very natural, well-balanced, warm sound signature with very good tonality and timbre of instruments. It has a mostly neutral bass presentation except for a minor sub-bass roll-off around 40Hz and a tiny 2-2.5dBs boost in the 80-200Hz range. It has extremely well-done midrange which is its main USP; it being linear, neutral and almost perfectly tonally accurate. Lower treble is natural, easy to listen to without any harshness or sibilance. Upper treble extension is fairly good with a prominent peak at around 15kHz. Overall, HD6XX is one of the easiest headphones to get along with because of how natural, comfortable and well-done the sound signature is.

A few weeks ago, I got my ears around the Massdrop HD58x Jubilee and have been in a conundrum of my own ever since. I have owned every Sennheiser model in the HD over ears series and enjoyed pretty much all of them, save for a few.

Headphone Cables / Recables

Upon first use on my head, the clamping pressure is too much for me to handle. It was the same with the HD650, my HD600, my HD580 and even my older favorite the HD485. Time is your friend, let it breathe and stretch on some books or a headphone stand that is wide. The Sennheiser HD650 has a very good sound quality as the sound distortion is very low. Though a little high-frequency coloration might occur, it is not that much to care about. The bass sound is really warm and good and the details of the sounds can listen in an exceptional manner. Sennheiser doesn’t quite claim that, but hype has been slowly building where the HD560S may be a viable replacement for the legendary HD6X0 headphones. My interest was piqued but now they have my attention. Is the HD560S all that’s cropped up to be?
