In 2013 Shrigley was shortlisted for the monumental Turner Prize following his major mid-career retrospective at the Hayward Gallery, London entitled ‘Brain Activity'.

He is one of those unique artists, like Andy Warhol or Keith Haring, who is recognised within the art world but whose reach extends far beyond to impact our wider culture.
