It’s got romance, it’s got suspense, it’s got drama and angst and it’s got a whole heap of surprises. This story had romance but I would say it’s more of a suspense story than a romance, and it’s also a story of a mother’s love and how deep that can be. This book pulled at my heart strings with absolute precision, I love Noah and Ria and their ability to come out of things and back to each other!I haven't read her before and have gone back and forth on this one, but I think if I'm ever going to read her, YA is the place to start. Ria’s determination and endurance in the face of constant hardship amazed me throughout the novel and I most definitely appreciated the Dual POV so that we get to see their own individual thoughts, despite them both being able to read each other’s emotions so well.
