About this deal

While the Keenz wagon pushed easily in the grass, we had to work to push it uphill and it didn’t do well going over bumps. Best known for their little red wagons, Radio Flyer has pioneered the ride-on realm of tricycles, scooters, bicycles, and more since its founding in 1917. The iconic brand also offers children's wagons at a reasonable price for those on a budget. Personally, the wheels are what comforts me the most because if you go up a rough road, the big wheels will sustain the bumps keeping your baby comfortable. Plus, it is one of the lightest stroller wagons on this list. Some interior storage space had to be sacrificed to keep the footprint small, but added storage baskets attached to the exterior help contain all your kids' essentials, and the two canopies offer shade for both kids. The all-terrain wheels performed better than many other wagon strollers on a large variety of surfaces in our testing. (An exception was on super-soft sand; for that, see our favorite all-terrain stroller wagon, below.)

There is very little data specifically about the safety of stroller wagons. Strollers are the closest comparison. 76% of Stroller Injuries are from Falling Out It can be referred to as the fastest folding wagon, and it tends to fit in the car trunk easily. But for minivans, it can get a bit difficult. Another tester has been using it for 2+ years, almost every day, even in the snow, and it still works perfectly, and looks great. The manufacturer claims the Larktale is an all-terrains stroller wagon, and I agreed with their claim because I was able to push and pull this wagon easily, all thanks to its suspension and bigger wheels. The Baby Trend Expedition 2-in-1 Stroller Wagon PLUS offers extra cargo space, a built-in seat and 3-point harness for two passengers. The extra large ratchet canopy with UPF 50+ protection and airflow mosquito netting keeps little ones comfortable and protected. The versatile Seat2Mat also provides extra support for little ones. Parents need to take care to restrain children properly while pushing and pulling wagons. When wagons are stationary and children are playing in and around them, close parental supervision is required. Pinching and Cutting The Adventure maneuvers easily and handled grass and hills well in our testing. It does not roll over bumps and roots without extra help.

Seat Styles: Are the seats cushioned with a 5-point harness? Do they have a separate foot well? Can the seats be moved so your toddler can lie down? When you invest in Stroller Wagons, there are many key things to consider. First and foremost, you want it to last a lifetime because they are versatile, but also come from a good brand and are safe for your child. NEDC (New European Driving Cycle): it has been the European driving cycle used so far for the measurement of fuel consumption and emissions from passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. The first European driving cycle came into force in 1970 and referred to an urban route. In 1992 it was also considered to have an extra-urban phase and since 1997 it has been used for measuring consumption and CO2 emissions. However, the composition of this cycle is no longer consistent with current driving styles and distances travelled on different types of roads. The average speed of the NEDC is only 34 km/h, accelerations are low and the maximum speed is just 120 km/h. We love the removable, retractable, and reversible canopy (with adjustable fabric), which acts as armor against the sun's harmful rays thanks to built-in UV protection. An adjustable push handle allows parents and caregivers to push with ease at a comfortable height, while the folding capability is like the cherry on top for compact storage. In addition, we think the removable seat is handy when you only need the wagon for transporting items to your next destination. One thing that sets it lower than the wagons discussed above is that this wagon stroller is not the fastest folding wagon. This all-terrain wagon has an average folding mechanism and it took me a minute or more to fold it.

What to look for in the best kids' wagon

Based on our research, we found these five categories to be the most important drivers of satisfaction with stroller wagons: In the veering test, I pushed it unevenly, and it didn’t veer off much. The front wheels can swivel, making it easier to turn. But the front wheels are smaller as compared to the rear wheels, and I found difficulty moving it on snowy and bumpy roads. It folds compactly to the extent that we could get it in the trunk of a small sedan if we took the wheels off (which is simple to do). Stroller wagons (or wagon strollers, whichever you prefer) are a genius portmanteau of wagon and stroller. They offer comfy seating with belts and cushioning, as well as plenty of room to store your things. The great thing is that not only are they all double (or more) strollers — they’re also equipped with the ability to glide over rough terrain without any problem, thanks to the fact that they can either be pushed or pulled. You’ll find that it’s easier to pull the wagon stroller over beach sand or up hills than it is to try and push a traditional stroller. Some wagon strollers even have footwells, adding an additional layer of comfort.

Designed to handle different terrains with ease, this Keenz stroller wagon steers and turns like a dream and has ample storage. We love that the sturdy, all-terrain wheels and spring suspension provide a smooth ride for up to two passengers, who are secured in their cushioned seats by five-point harnesses. It maneuvers impressively over grass, carpet, tile, and concrete, though the wheels do dig down in the sand. If you don't need your FX-CTXL900 for a longer period of time, you can store it safely in a dusty (but dry) environment using a protective cover. The Xplore also performed well in time-to-fold, ease-of-folding, ease-of-lifting and several other portability tests. It stands when folded but is prone to tipping. But, then, you may have to compromise with the flip-flop brake, as this wagon doesn’t stop completely when you engage the brakes. The new Keenz 7S + 4 seater wagon can swivel much more easily than its previous types.

Best 4-seater

After the maneuverability test, we collapsed the stroller wagons, noting how hard or easy the folding process was. Then, we walked around with each stroller wagon folded to see how portable they were.

While researching, I found that the plastic seats are easy to clean, but the fabric in the legroom isn’t. On 1 September 2017, the new Worldwide harmonised Light-duty vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) came into force in Europe and will gradually replace the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) protocol. While bulky, we found this wagon to maneuver easily, even around tight corners. However, don't expect it to move as easily as a normal stroller with the added seats and storage space. Still, it took less than 10 minutes to assemble and folds down in seconds for seamless storage. The seats also come with a 5-point safety harness for kids over six months old, but infants can ride as well with the car seat adapter.

W Series.

The FX-CTXL900 folding wagon from FUXTEC is available in premium grey (heather grey/jeans look) and grey. One thing I found missing was flexibility, as most 4 seat children wagon strollers offer the freedom of adjusting the handle, but this wagon’s handle is fixed at 42.5 inches.
