About this deal

This means that there will be more contrast between colors than other films, which means that the negatives aren’t as flexible in post production.

Rating the entire roll the same way is when you are not trying to bracket your shots and you are looking for consistent exposure across the whole roll. Everything I do and what I learn along the way gets shared on here, to inform and inspire you to get out and shoot as much - and as well - as you can too. seems to me at least, developed in d76 Toit has a nice rich contrast that I like a little better than trix. Kodak Gold creates good photos with slightly green shadows, and a little more saturation when push processed, but the images will still come out nicely. By placing your subject in the light, you are ensuring that they will be properly exposed, because the shadows will always disappear on the negative. But Kodak Gold can be shot between ISO 50 and ISO 400 on the same roll without push or pull processing, making it a fantastic film shooting at any time of day. This means setting the ISO on your camera or light meter to a different number than what the box (box speed) tells you to do. The colors are about as beautiful and vibrant as old-school Kodachrome and the grain is fine enough to make some truly sharp scans and gigantic prints. Being a consumer-grade film also means that it has a wide exposure latitude—plenty of room for mistakes.

Shooters looking for a do-it-all black-and-white film probably won’t be satisfied with the specificity of P3200.Images made with 800 look more like a traditional color negative film, which is welcome considering how close to digital perfection images from Portra 160 and 400 can be.
