Coming up with your own set of house rules to suit you and your opponents is half the fun. Otherwise, why not get any old game of Guess Who? After a while, we started banning questions around species and gender, and asked more interesting, vague questions that we could answer informed by our knowledge of the characters. To do this, Godric Gryffindor used his magical hat – henceforward known as the Sorting Hat – to decide which children should go into which house, and so it has been ever since with a yearly Sorting Ceremony that places each new pupil into their own new home. Gather enough pictures of people or things to fill the slots of the red board and blue board for your gameboard faces. For most game boards you will need 24 pictures.

One thing my son noticed was that Ginny Weasley and Neville Longbottom are missing from the line-up. Obviously, all the characters can’t be included. But these two were noticeably absent. It was nice to see a few creatures added in though, including Dobby. As an avid Harry Potter fan, there were a few things I could see as potential issues right off the bat. Guess Who? is a game that, at its base level, requires players to ask questions that are appearance-based. If you’re playing with adults, this is incredibly easy, and you may want to change it up for a bit of variety. This was said by Dumbledore in Prisoner of Azkaban. This is a really powerful quote that I think can help people who are dealing with difficult times or depression. You have to realize that you own your happiness and only you have the power to dig yourself out of the darkness. Try to hold onto the positive things in your life instead of dwelling on the negative. Try to remember why you are doing what you are doing. It will only help you find the light. The first player will ask their opponent a yes or no quesiton about their mystery person. This was said by Albus Dumbledore in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Dumbledore awarded Neville Longbottom and Gryffindor 10 points at the end of the school year. This was because Neville tried to stop Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger from getting in trouble and costing Gryffindor points in the House Cup. Even though they were his friends, Neville tried to do the right thing. It takes courage to speak up to your friends if you think that they are doing something wrong. Neville’s courage can also apply to your daily life. If you feel like one of your friends is making poor decisions, let them know instead of standing idle. Sometimes the truth can hurt but at least you tried to help. 2) “We’ve all got both light and dark inside us.
