About this deal
I just recently repurchased a full-sized bottle and compared it to the rollerball, and the difference is night and day. Pretty inoffensive for the most part, it's not going to be my signature scent or anything but I will definitely use my whole bottle. This used to be my signature scent, but after the company was purchsed my Coty, it was just not the same anymore. Top notes are Bergamot, Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Freesia, Jasmine and Rose; base note is Musk.
Coty claims they did not change the formula but I know how the original Amazing Grace used to smell AND last all day, and then some. It's the grumpy neighbour's blossoming citrus tree, my grandma's musky perfume that faintly lingered on my clothes after a hug, the clean salt of the sea that's still too cold to swim in, clean linen, a vase of yellow roses and freesias after sad news, soap and the way my mother says 'fresh'. I personally like the the scent but not on me, I feel like it's something I would smell on a older women. This has DNA similar to the old classic "White Shoulders" perfume: feminine, floral, "hairspray-esque".Hopefully Fragrantica might update the listings with the new bottles and specify more clearly which is the EDP and EDT. my moms signature scent lol she wore it all the time when i was growing up so i always think of her when i smell it. I actually think it has decent longevity, although it is very soft - I can smell it on my skin and clothes at the end of the day. In saying that, wearing this helps me fool myself into thinking I am a well-rounded, cultured, kind, approachable woman who always wears white cotton or linen and maintains a spotless home (Ahahahahaha - dreams!
last year/early this year, and the degree of powder in this scent made it intolerable to me while I was up the duff (I bought this perfume not long prior to getting pregnified).
The grapefruit, orange, and bergamot are such a sharp beautiful sillage, very crisp and natural, a clean and strong scent.
