To be extra sure, I recommend people to go to Crinacle’s measurement page and EQ their own IEMs to his target. The acrilic stand also had some scratches and scuffs on it out of the box, but these were relatively minor and I don't know if you can even see them in the picture. Like the original Truthear ZERO, the ZERO: RED uses a 10mm dynamic driver for low frequencies and a smaller 7. With the ZERO, Truthear and Crinacle have hit the target, providing you with the best-in-class tuning. Two things caught my attention - the fact that the Zero was tuned to the Harman IEM target, and the fact that the RED supposedly has a more recessed bass.

Some of my more expensive IEMs sit better due to a better resin mold, but none are as light as the ZERO: RED. When tracks are really busy, some male vocals and certain instruments just get overshadowed and left in the background.Quite often you will also find Hi-Fi equipment offering direct connectivity to devices with Android and iOS to simplify the connectivity process. The same is true of the instrumentation, though the sound of the cymbals seems to splash more in the upper treble. I run those two with Comply tips as I prefer the foam (I found the Chus too sharp without them), and also used the foam tips for the Zeros. While the 10Ω adaptor is an interesting addition, I find the straight extension of the angled jack makes the overall setup a bit cumbersome. Thankfully, the mid bass response doesn't overpower the sub bass response and instead creates nice, warm notes while maintaining the slam hits and thumps in the mix.Overall, though, the notes are affected in a way that sounds natural thanks to the stage, separation, and imaging. Dual Dynamic Driver configuration is similar to the previous ZERO configuration but with better tuning and synchronization. That being said, there's no bass bleed and the midrange is quite detailed but lacks fullness or muscle a bit. The audio quality exhibited by these earphones/IEMs is a beautiful mix of musicality, technical brilliance and high precision.
