As mentioned above, the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo N8 Plus is a little larger than some robot vacuums, in part because of its 8.1oz / 240ml water reservoir, but not substantially so. It’s 3.66 inches / 9.3cm tall and has a diameter of 13.9 inches / 35.3cm. This does mean it’s not quite as nimble as some when nipping underneath tables and chairs, and carrying it upstairs could be a chore – it weighs 7.9lb / 3.6kg. For this purpose, Ecovacs UK included a special cleaning tool in the delivery scope. It’s under the lid of the vacuum cleaner. The mobile app also lets you know when to replace specific components (e.g. HEPA filter, side brush etc.). The mopping feature can’t keep up with mopping by hand. The weight (~3.6 kg – 8 lbs.) of the robot vacuum mop hybrid is simply too low. Thus, it can’t put enough pressure on the mop and can’t remove stubborn stains.

I was genuinely impressed with how gentle the Ecovavs Deebot N10 is around solid obstacles. It uses a mixture of infrared sensors and the ability to gently nudge into solid objects with its bumper. You’ll even receive notifications on your phone if there are issues during cleaning and also once cleaning is complete. The only other problem I encountered was with furniture legs that aren’t vertical.
