We provide daily opportunities for all children to access the outdoor learning environment whatever the weather and when possible we like to take the children on outings to explore the surrounding areas and local communities. An inveterate bookworm, Henry has tackled a number of bookish adventures, such as recreating Chaucer's Canterbury Tales , leading pilgrims from Southwark to Canterbury and retelling the tales along the way; mounting a quest for the Holy Grail based on Malory's Morte d'Arthur ; swimming across the Hellespont from Europe to Asia on the bicentenary of Lord Byron's crossing (the subject of Byron's 1810 poem, 'Written after Swimming from Sestos to Abydos'); and reading Ulysses in real-time on Bloomsday, 16 June, starting at 8am with grilled kidneys and finishing in the early hours of the following morning. During the summertime to maximise the opportunity for children to enjoy the nice sunny weather children are encouraged to sleep outside. This might be confusing to start with, especially if your child is accustomed to spending much of their time with you.

We are privileged to know local, independent social businesses, who are so often missed by passing tourists.This helps children to understand their immediate environments and help build resilience in children.

It sounded intriguing and I have bought it and will enjoy reading and experiencing curious insights into London that I never knew about. They will also consider your child’s holistic developmental needs and ensure the activity plans and care routines reflect these needs.However, the Social Ljubljana tour really provides an insight into some of the sustainable, ethical and responsible aspects of community and business life of this beautiful city.
