I’m not sure how difficult I ever want to make the game as there are things that are still out of your control, namely which monsters are coming out of the deck and those damn dice. Cryptid is a unique deduction game of honest misdirection in which players must try to uncover information about their opponents’ clues while throwing them off the scent of their own. It explains the game, but it's pretty dense, making it hard to find specific information by flipping through during the game.

I’ve actually played this game a couple of times and every game has been a tooth-and-nail fight to the finish.
