If you’re considering where to buy a home in the northern part of the capital, you might want to look at property in one of the North London Villages. Many people come to Primrose Hill for its artistic inspiration as it has been home to many famous writers, poets, musicians throughout history. We were passing an old history book around the office (because we really know how to have a good time in our downtime) and saw mention of it.

It is an area that has appealed greatly to families over the last 10 years or so, seeing its popularity grow. Make no bones about it though, if you’re not discovering secret places in London, you’re only hearing half the story. The Conservatory used to only be open on Sundays but it’s currently open every day (booking only). Whether that’s a long term change is unclear but you should grab the chance to go. Maybe it’s the fact that, despite being sandwiched between Covent Garden and Charing Cross Road, entering feels like stepping into the Narnia wardrobe. In short, Columbia Road offers something for everyone – whether you’re looking for unique shopping experiences or simply want to soak in the charms of this colourful hamlet. It’s easy to see why Camden Passage has become such a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike. In a world where everything feels fast-paced and modern, this hidden gem offers a glimpse into London’s past while providing an escape from the present day. Eltham Palace was bought in 1931 by the wealthy Stephen Courtauld who started a period of transformation and extension that led to some of the best-preserved Art Deco interiors you can find today.
