Another thing I like was that this was an erotic romance and boy was it spicy. I give it 5 peppers for hotness 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶! One thing I sometimes hate about high school romance is that they are too clean and a great number of high school students can be a bit dirty. If they were we wouldn’t have TV shows like Teen Mom or Young and Pregnant.

I really enjoyed Cruel King, I could not put it down! I loved Whitley and Gavin they are such great characters that gripped me from the very start, well to be honest they've always intrigued me from the previous books in this addictive series! I cannot wait for what K.A Linde does next! He is referred to one of the evil rulers in human history. His last invasions have remembered as bloodshed battle because he invaded Gaul from the countryside and slaughter the entire village in their wake. He never spares a single person where he invades. Gavin, ever the playboy had no desire to settle down. However, after spending three years without his wingman he knew he wanted more than just one night stands. Whitley's return opened his eyes to his true feelings, if only he could convince her to give a relationship between them a chance. His plan, ask her to pose as his girlfriend for a wedding for a family member in Texas with the hope she would come to realise they were meant to be. Whitley agrees, but like all things that are built on lies his plan takes a disastrous turn. Side note: The side characters in the book intrigued me enough to want more of their stories. Fingers crossed they get books of their own in the future!

This book was written in British English and the phrases like 'areshole' 'shagging' too many of them were used. It was horrible experience to read in British. I don’t rate a lot of books 4* my GR friends are very aware of that! This review is also based on Rina Kent’s other bully book in a boxset which was my favourite and the only one for me that had all the qualities I would expect in a possessive and obsessed hero. stars out of 5. This was an awesome bully romance and the relationship between the two main characters was just about as sizzling hot as it could possibly be. If only a guy would be as into me as Levi King is into Astrid Clifford, I would be a fantastically happy woman. This is a romance where the heroine is one of the “invisible” people at the RES (Royal Elite School) and Levi King was not only from the richest family, but he was the Captain of the Football team and the hottest guy in school. The Zhengde Emperor of China (1491-1521) The way this couple was re-introduced was funny as all get out it made us laugh out loud the belly laugh kind. The characters were supportive and amazing. I really enjoyed Whitley and Gavin’s love story. It’s full of fun and playful moments but also gives us heart and emotion. When Whitley runs into Gavin and you can tell there is something there even if they don’t know it yet. You can feel their familiarity and they have a great time together. I loved how they rekindle their friendship and was so excited when Gavin finally asks Whitley to be his fake girlfriend because I really wanted to see these two end up together. Warning:- if you really wanna enjoy this book, you need to shut off your feminist brain, I am sorry I can't!! I admit that this book was addictive and I wanted to know what actually happened and is going to happen. But i also feel this book is very similar to Fear Me by B.B. Reid .
