The fruity notes combined with the cardamom and florals give me an impression of something a bit bubblegummy, but on an oriental base. Warm cedarwood, guaiac wood, leather, patchouli, vetiver and musk are richly woven in the intricate and alluring base.

There are only variations in the strength of the elemi’s woody, smoky, and dry sides over the course of the next few hours, along with fluctuating degrees of ISO E-like aromachemical pepperiness. I’ve never encountered a fragrance where each retailer seems to set a different figure on the same bottle. As a whole, though, Beloved is a seamless blend of the two faces of elemi, and the fragrance’s main characteristic for a good portion of its opening hours is creaminess. take much for me to get excited about a new Amouage release but Lucas (Chemist in the Bottle) did his part and so did Sheila (The Alembicated Genie).

some airiness to this composition, yet in its subtle mysterious development something special, something unique, something grandiose emerges. I deeply disagree with this sentiment, but the more general idea that Beloved Man is taking Western mass-appealing DNA and putting its own creative spin on it isn't far from the truth. Moderate to strong in sillage /projection with tremendous longevity, this can be easily classified as a unisex fragrance. Beloved is a woody oriental fragrance with top notes of spicy black pepper and cardamom intensified with opulent floral notes in the heart. There is nothing… Nothing more off putting related to the way a fragrance may smell… Than, “old man fart smell. A breathtakingly beautiful Floral Spice Oriental from the never disappointing Amouage, Beloved is a spellbinding mix of florals, resins and spices that has to be worn to be believed. My nose whent positivly nuts of the flowery musky and leathery smell folowed by the fruity smell that is a bit overwhelming in the beginning:). It skew quite citrus-woody, and I don’t think the creaminess that I got (and which is the part you’d like) is common.Beloved Man is a masterpiece and admittedly my 13th fragrance from this house minus a few that I didn't care for.

This fragrance is min one of the top 5 Amouage that are out there right now as this one comes across special, light and not intrusive to the others. Only after an hour or so you can "understand" its final notes and therefore useless to talk about an updated copy of "One Million". The fragrance is wispy, light, and a total skin scent by this point as well, though you can detect it easily for another 6 hours if you smell it up close. Beloved was created by Bernard Ellena, though Fragrantica mistakenly credits Alexandra Carlin and Emilie (Bevierre) Coppermann. It would still be simplistic, safe, and lacking much flair, but, generally speaking, I no longer expect much more than that from MFK.After a short time the orange starts to retreat and clears the way for a very sweet scent, which is not cheap, but very noble and dignified. a gentleman perfume for men, with burst of citrus smells, then woodsy pencil shaving smell of gucci homme( th eold one not the new one ) on skin it develop fast than on cloth, the one that i like is the drydown musky leathery oud smell. You may ask where does this aquatic note comes from, again honestly I’ve no idea, as this is what I and those around me have perceived. I like this sort of creative variation and use of different noses for each new release, it makes for an unpredictability and chaos which seems to be a brand theme. The perfumers with whom, Chong chooses to work have an innate understanding of how to interpret his inspirational direction and who appreciate the desire of the brand to create its own trend, as opposed to following the flock.

I have not much good to say about this and i don,t feel the effort or interesse to give the words and this scent some extra time.coherent composition in itself :D next to the other Amouage fragrances is not much reported about this one.
