About this deal

One of my favorite aspects of the game comes from watching other battle over an asset not just because it’s fun to watch players agonize over whether or not they are going to keep using valuable cards to steal or keep it, but because of what happens after. The challenged player may defend their assets by showing either a matching card or a wild from their hand.

LOVED AROUND THE WORLD: Enjoyed by kids, teens, families, and parents around the world, Cover Your Assets is an all-occasion favorite that will bring smiles and laughter to your group, too! If I were to pick one thing to add, it would maybe be a spoiler card as an optional add-in to the game. Each time a new pair is placed down, it’s stacked perpendicular to the previous asset cards in their personal pile. Discard and draw: If a player can’t or doesn’t want to do any of the above actions, they must discard a card from their hand to the discard pile and then draw a new card from the draw pile. The game plays with 4-6 players, and is a great for mixed groups as kids, teens, parents, and grandparents alike can learn the game in minutes and enjoy it for hours. This now becomes a larger, much more valuable stack of assets that gets placed upon the winner’s pile. Request Rejected This page is unavailable due to either geographic restrictions or other restrictions in place at this time. When playing with three players you use all of the cards and each player only has a hand of five cards.

To keep the set from being stolen by another player, the best thing you can do is to Cover Your Assets, by creating a new pair from your hand, or by stealing a set from the top of another player’s stack during your next turn. The first of which is forming a set by pairing two cards from your hand, pairing a card from your hand and the top card of the discard pile, or pairing cards by using one of the wild cards (silver or gold). You’ll also get table talk where people tell you to steal from someone else, which is generally amusing. Each new set that is created is stacked crosswise on top of the previous set, covering, and protecting, all the sets beneath it. There's a good deal of luck and a whole lot of stealing, but I suppose that's what it takes to become a millionaire, at least in this game.

The stakes are high in this high-energy, competitive, and cut-throat, set-collection card game from Grandpa Beck’s Games! Every time somebody tries to steal assets, whether they're successful or not, that particular set of assets increases in value, making it a bigger target for all the other players. Assets are collected and defended with matching cards or with the wild cards: the Gold and Silver cards.FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN: Fast-paced, competitive, more than a little addicting, and now with an updated look! You can use it as a last-ditch save to protect your stuff from getting jacked, but you are telegraphing to every other player at that point that you have no other cards of that type left, so that might also not be super worth it.

This is essentially a set collection game with a ‘take that’ mechanism that can be played in just 20 minutes for two to six players. This part of the game can be quite boring and will take a little time if you have won a lot of challenges. At the end of each turn, all players must draw enough cards to replenish their hand back up to four. The last player to play a card wins, taking the whole set of assets (not the whole asset stack, just the set of matching cards), adding all the cards played during the challenge, and puts it in their own asset stack.
