About this deal

The creatures make lots of funny and gross noises such as farting, burping and blowing raspberries which of course the boys found absolutely hilarious! Crate Creatures Surprise toys are recommended for children aged 4+ and I think this is spot on as my almost 4 year old really likes this toy.

featuring Lego, Peppa Pig, Our Generation, PJ Masks, Fingerlings, Incredibles, LOL Surprise and Crate Creatures. Shake him to hear him laugh, pull his tongue to get him angry, push Pudge over and he will go to sleep. His wings flap when you squeeze his tail and he makes chomping noises when you feed him his roasted treat. It seems like a great idea until you forget to record over it… What did we think of the Crate Creatures? The crates are pretty fun to open – they come with a chain around the box {to keep your monster contained}, a padlock on top and a crowbar on the side. It's easier than it sounds - although these little critters will shout and growl and try to scare you off. Crate Creatures Bashers are similar to the Crate Creatures Surprise as they are sat inside their little box, waiting to be unleashed! Load up the Crate Creatures mouth with the slime, pull on its tail and watch as he barfs up his dinner! There’s a good choice tapas on offer from Punjabi fish fingers, Indo Chinese Chicken to Spiced Lamb Scotch Eggs and Manchurian Cauliflower (which was amazing! Overall, the boys have really enjoyed playing with their Crate Creatures – they’ve had lots of fun mixing the body parts up and have asked to add to their collection.

P ull it to hear lots of funny noises, but if you pull it too hard it will make him angry and he will shake in rage! The boys had fun attempting to blast their creatures out of the crate and comparing the differences between the monsters. The opportunity came just at the right time too, as he'd just finished nursery for good and it was the perfect surprise to cheer him up! M has always loved reading books that make him laugh and contain humour - they tend to keep him engaged in reading.

Anyway, that’s enough reminiscing – back to Crate Creatures… There are 4 to collect… Sizzle, Blizz, Snorthog and Pudge (who we got). There are 4 different Crate Creatures to collect; Blizz, Pudge, Sizzle and Snorthog, each with their own look, personality, phrases and favourite food!Unfortunately we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses and some large items are shipped directly from our suppliers who ship to the UK mainland only. In my opinion, as a mother to two boys who love making silly sounds, pretending to be monsters and anything a bit crazy, it's a perfect toy for the 4+ age group, although, Beau has also gotten a laugh out of Pudge too and he's only 2. Crate Creatures are back, but this time with little mini versions of themselves, and with a couple of new friends!

Incidentally, a mum of two boys, my specialist subjects include: the school run, being woke AF, randomly remembering 90's song lyrics (while simultaneously forgetting everything else), sarcasm and dark humour. This blog is written by full-time working mam of three Lindsay and features husband Lee, grown-up daughter Chloe (20), daughter Sophia (9) and son Jacob (8). The parts are made of brightly coloured solid plastic which you can mix and match with other Crate Creature KaBOOM box creatures, giving them a unique look. That’s exactly what I thought when I first heard about Crate Creatures Surprise from MGA Entertainment. His fur is soft and his face tries very hard to be scary, but he does like it when you tickle his nose (he makes noises) and if you press his tummy, he'll record your voice and play it back in his monster accent. If you haven’t a clue what Crate Creatures are then I recommend taking a look at my review from last year.
