I don't perceive anything close to Daiquiri in here, although I can get a slight rum-ish vibe in the drydown. The iris gives it a bit of a powdery feel, and is nothing like the lipsticky iris of the Dior Homme line, while cardamom and vanilla give it a certain sensuality. If you're looking for toiletries or accessories, you may also want to compare intense eaux de parfum, eaux de toilette or sunglasses. Dupont 58 Avenue Montaigne Pour Homme Eau de Toilette is a woody, aromatic fragrance for the active man for all-day wear.Vanilla/Leather/Iris being the most prominent notes, interchanging, depending on the temperature I'd say. Female version is a combination of sweet caramelized vanilla,boozy fruity notes and a touch of powder.
Not really, this DNA is common but if you are looking for an affordable mass-pleasing date night fragrance similar to La Nuit de L'homme this is up there with the best of them. It's decent in the colder months for a quick spritz if stepping out to run some errands, but def not a panty dropper by any means.It was SOTD as of 12/14/18, to my nose is a good aromatic and powdery scent, other reviews compare it to La Nuit, in which I don't have to compare, is a very surprising sweet/sexy scent my nose detect the iris, vanilla, cardamom and leather.
UPDATE: After a couple hours the leather started to really come through and it distinguishes this scent more. it's a fragrance if people would at least get a decant/sample of I think they would fall in love with this frag. The dry down of woods, leather, resins and left-over alcoholic party drinks has a touch of Armani Code (original) and Carolina Herrera VIP Club. If you exclude its alcoholic opening (where I can smell nothing for around 5 minutes) then beautiful Iris, rich vanilla, spicy pepper and cardamom. What I will say is I will no longer be purchasing le male as it's new reformulation is trash as it is. Its creamy semi sweet cardamom and vanilla and touches of leather with a little Iris sprinkled over it. Definitely can see how people say it gives off somewhat of a La Nuit vibe, a little less powdery and a little more sweet version to my nose.The iris is more like a Prada iris and not a Dior makeup iris mixed with the cardamom it gives an upscale feeling and would never make anyone think you’re wearing cheap cologne. Sillage is moderate, never radiating much more than a arm's length and starts getting closer to the skin after the 3hour mark and stays as a somewhat strong skin scent for up to 8hours.
