About this deal

Anything You Can Cook, I Can Cook Vegan' is a guide to truly creative plant-based cooking with zero sacrifices. There's something comforting about it, and indeed, this book is teaching material--for vegans who are new to cooking more complex meals, and for omnivores who are new to cooking vegan.

With I Can Cook Vegan, Isa offers doable recipes designed to help inspire people to kick their meat habits, improve digestion, and become all-around better citizens of the world. Both times I stuffed them into pitas along with the tabbouleh and tzatziki for an on the go lunch as the author advised as an alternative to a salad. Anything You Can Cook, I Can Cook Vegan is a guide to truly creative plant-based cooking with zero sacrifices. Richard Makin packs each recipe with simple tricks for maximising flavour and genius vegan 'hacks' you'll wonder how you ever coped without. But lots of vegan recipes tend to be Asian or Italian based, and while I love that stuff, I kinda just want FOOD.

This is a very versatile cookbook and I highly recommend it to anyone learning to cook or interested in some vegan dishes. Imagine a world with limitless vegan options; a place where anything and everything can be made vegan. You'll learn to make delicious meat alternatives and proper, grateable vegan cheeses, and find out just how versatile tofu can be.

Imagine a world with limitless vegan options, a place where anything and everything can be made vegan. The book grows with every chapter, teaching the building block to become a better, more competent cook. I really like the way this book is set up, it's a great "basics" cookbook, but still with creative recipes, and they're presented to help you explore different cooking techniques- which even if you don't need the intro, the recipes are great! Each chapter starts with a fresh mission, and readers will cook their way through pastas, salads, sandwiches, bowls, sautes, sheet-pan suppers, and sweets-more than 125 recipes! From Isa Chandra Moskowitz—the bestselling author of Veganomicon—comes a book dedicated to her true love: the home cook. We accept all major credit cards including American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna. With winter temperatures hitting us literally overnight (we went from 103 to 41 in 2 weeks here in Dallas), I've been cooking up ALL THE STEWS and they are STOOPID GOOD! She is the chef and owner of the restaurant Modern Love, which has locations in both Brooklyn and Omaha.

I understand some people don’t like the colored ink used for the recipes — but I love how clearly each section is separated by these color changes. But the book isn't only for meat eaters looking for a better way to live-Moskowitz wants to get vegans to start cooking more so that they can worry less about what they can and cannot eat. Upon finishing the book I have noted 18 recipes I am going to cook and update review at a later date. I’m a responsible good home cook, but I’m finding this book produces a lot of unhealthy pasta heavy dishes. The problem I found with this book and similar vegan cookbooks is the lack of regard for carb counts. This is nice because if you know you want to look at pasta and noodle dishes then you look at the yellow section. I'm at the stage where I'm not a fan of the 'fake' stuff, I like cooking with whole foods from scratch.

Her readers turn to her for recipes that work, whether they're looking for cupcakes that adhere to their diet or comforting Thanksgiving dinners that taste as satisfying as their childhood memories. If you are making a stew with beans, lentils, and pasta that's just way too many carbs for one meal. It’s American cooking at its worst (and please don’t get me wrong I’ve lived in New York and eaten at some brilliant places). With cleverly marked difficulty levels, recipes range from quick, school-night classics to fun weekend baking projects. Its long list of distinguished and popular titles includes The Art of Walt Disney, Earth From Above, Richard Avedon: Performance, Time: Andy Goldsworthy, African Ceremonies, Slim Aarons: Once Upon a Time, The Ultimate Picasso, Worldchanging: A User's Guide for the 21st Century, Graffiti World: Street Art from Five Continents, Things I've Learned in My Life So Far, Vanity Fair: The Portraits, Twilight: Photographs by Gregory Crewdson, Kirby: King of Comics, William Wegman Polaroids, Tony Duquette, Louis Vuitton: The Birth of Modern Luxury, Landscape Design: A Cultural and Architectural History, Golf Magazine: Private Lesson's, and the best-selling 365 and Discoveries series. Thank you, Becky, for this wonderful gift for Christmas 2019- I am grateful that you see in me a future and better chef within the plant-based lifestyle.
