I really respect Majeure d'Issey from a creative standpoint and it's not quite like anything else in my collection. I shouldn't have even purchased it but I think the shape and design of the bottle played a big factor because it was something different to touch and felt quite nice to hold. Clearly, Issey recognised that in the age of the uniform Boss smells and the post-2000 Italian mob, they needed something that fit in with the boring type of run-of-the mill stuff that seems to be everybody's favourite these days. Blind bought this for myself, as winter has just finished here in Australia and it’s now spring - and FAR OUT what an amazing scent! The circle is complete and I'm free to wriggle out from under a pile of pleated mess, like Sayoko Yamaguchi on that AW95/96 Issey Miyake runway.
