After three days, I took it out, and the scent was just like I had sprayed it a couple of hours ago! When a well-dressed woman flags you down the block to find out what scent you’re wearing, it wins points. I don't think that this is an everyday perfume but could be the one for a date or a cold night walk in the city. My mom said it smelled like her grandma… smells old and reminded her of piss… I don't smell that but I agree with her that it doesn’t smell expensive. First conclusion “on me”, no lemon whatsoever after 2 hours… The vanilla overpowers everything, very sugary with a touch of musk and maybe, maybe some wood.The brand was founded in 2008 in Paris as an initiative of Al Athar, one of the biggest fragrance distributors in the Persian Gulf area, making Mancera perfumes some of the most authentic scents for any admirer of oriental fragrances.

If you love vanilla, then this should be the lucky charm you carry around with you in all situations, and if that isn’t enough for you, then how about a lovely bouquet of rose in the heart and sweet, sensual maple syrup in the base? I've had a signature fragrance for years now, and I never thought I would ever find another one that would take my breath away. It made me smell like something I couldn’t help but associate with a new car air freshener-leather seats, a clean fresh rolled tobacco scent, with a touch of soapy rose and fake vanilla. It's a very realistic rose at it's finest, mixed with the most delicious warm vanilla sugar extract, and has a dusting of powdered sugar type powdery sweet musk.But the mistake was that on the skin it was definitely long-lasting and had a strong sillage, almost to the point of a headache. They send me just the sponge, low quality have to say, the package was saying parcel 1 0f 2 but never received it after. I don’t smell any lemon but the fragrance itself has a slight tartness which I guessed was the type of rose, but I guess it could also be the lemon.

It's roses combined with syrupy sweetness, kinda smells like it has oud in it too but it's not listed in the notes. I’m not a fan of classic rose smell, like the one you’d find in hand creams, but this is not like that. On me, the musk doesn't give off an "animalic" scent, as some say, so I advise testing before purchasing to avoid any surprises, as musk doesn't work well for everyone.The water does not at all make this aquatic, it more so lifts it and gives the fragrance a lightness, keeping it from becoming too heavy. Trying it has been a lesson on not going into sampling with a fantasy or expectation (although sometimes that’s half the fun! The original Delina is amazingly crafted unique perfume but it's sour rhubarb note along with the rose just made me feel like something is not right and I only want the slightly sweet vanilla / incense / woody base of Delina, as I don't like to smell too rosey.
