High performance, fast setting, mould-resistant and water-repellent grout from the world’s largest manufacturer of adhesives, grouts, sealants and specialty products for the building industry. Ultracolor Plus is suitable for interior and exterior wall and floor grouting of ceramic tiles, porcelain, terracotta, stone material, glass and marble mosaics.

If using this grout with moisture sensitive natural stone tiles, a low modulus silicone is advised – Mapei Mapesil LM Silicone.

With very absorbent tiles, high temperatures or windy conditions, dampen the joints with clean water. Mapei Ultracolor Plus forms a smooth, compact finished surface with optimum resistance to abrasion, compression and flexural strength, and good resistance to acids with a pH > 3. Do not use UltraCare Fuga Fresca to consolidate friable grout or those with poor mechanical strengh due to inadequate hydration.Do not use on epoxy grouts or on expansion joints sealed with silicone or polyurethane-based products. Remove any excess of Mapei Ultracolor Plus from the surface, by moving the float diagonally to the joints while the mix is still fresh.
