About this deal

Agent Moose is one I'd been reading with a few children in school (they were loving it) and when Floss saw it was a graphic novel with an owl character she was desperate to read.

This series is great for fans of Dog Man, Cat Kid, and Captain Underpants, with fun illustrations and prompts to aid children on the road to being confident readers.Agent Moose, the best (worst) secret agent in the Big Forest, and his slightly-more-intelligent sidekick Owlfred are on the case in this new full colour graphic novel series. The circus is in town, Granny Moose is coming to visit, and someone is stealing from innocent animals. In fact, this is the place where fellow secret detective Camo Chameleon is celebrating solving his 100th case. Woodland HQ has reported that a turtle has disappeared after another agent, Camo the Chameleon, solved his 100 th case. What’s more we love the satisfying, witty graphics from Jess Bradley, of the award-winning A Day in the Life of a Poo, a Gnu and You and more.

Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. There is so much detail to enjoy in both the pictures and the story that I'm sure this will withstand loads of rereads, and with full colour throughout I think it's fantastic value too. This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally). Scholastic) It seems that Agent Moose has a new mission; to find the whereabouts of Terrance Turtle, last seen in South Shore. The brilliant illustrations obviously add a whole other layer to the story, with plenty of extra clues to be spotted and jokes to be enjoyed.Originally from America, Mo moved to London because she wanted to live abroad but spoke no foreign languages.

He’s an excellent master of disguise with a fondness for chocolate milk - shaken, not stirred, like all good spies - but he can sometimes find himself in sticky situations.Agent Moose, the best (worst) secret agent in the Big Forest, and his slightly-more-intelligent sidekick Owlfred solve woodland mysteries in this full-color graphic novel series from Mo O’Hara, author of My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish! Although Agent Moose is reluctant to take the case tracking down missing Terrance Turtle, he’s a professional. There was just the right amount of choice to suit everyone without being overwhelming and I received comments from parents and staff about the quality of books offered compared to previous sales which have always been based around current crazes and well known celebrity authors. Join Agent Moose and his assistant Owlfred as they embark on a number of super detective missions, from missing turtles to strange flash floods – can they solve the mystery and save Big Forest? After a brief and unsuccessful stint as a serving wench at the Tower of London Mo found work as an actress and comedy performer.

Packed with excellent puns, suitably dastardly villains, and a whole host of other hilarious characters, this book would be a great choice for anyone just starting out on their graphic novel journey. Read on to find out in my pick, especially good if you’re thinking where next after Dog Man and want a funny and accessible read for ages 6+. Your words, like your reviews, bring books to life and give them a voice before the front cover is even turned. With a few missteps and hilarious disguises galore, the duo interview a cast of animal residents to solve the mystery. This bind-up is the perfect pick for graphic novel lovers, with the hilarious full-colour pictures on every page being a great way to encourage reluctant readers to engage with storytime.

As well as a cracking plot, there are loads of hilarious moments along the way that are almost like mini comedy sketches, and plenty of twists and turns as our heroes follow their leads and track down a turtle-napper. Agent Moose, the best (worst) secret agent in the Big Forest, and his slightly-more-intelligent sidekick Owlfred are on the case in this new full color graphic novel chapter book series from Mo O’Hara, author of My Big Fat Zombie Goldfish, illustrated by Jess Bradley! I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly! Yourself and Bob are much cherished in our booky world and I personally really appreciate everything that you do.
