With its history in apothecary Peychaud’s Bitters has a strong authentic flavour which was originally dispensed as a medicinal tonic. Hailing from north Surrey I moved to Brighton in 2006 and have recently moved to the Seven Dials area with my family which we love. It has an unparalleled depth of flavour, making it an essential to have behind any bar and in any kitchen.

A massive success since their arrival in 2007, these orange bitters are only the second Angostura Bitters ever made since the appearance of the original bitters in 1824. Ingredients travel from Venezuela to England where they are ‘coded’ and sent on to Trinidad where it is said there is a long-standing agreement by customs not to inspect the contents! ANGOSTURA® orange bitters is made from its own special secret recipe and does not contain any of the ingredients in ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters. Many cocktails simply wouldn’t be the same without a dash or two of Angostura bitters and it’s the complex herbaceous nature of the product which allows it to offer additional depth and dimension to cocktails. I've lived in Brighton for over 20 years and studied at the University of Brighton and Plumpton College. It is created from sun-ripened Caribbean Oranges that are blended with a variety of other secret herbs and spices, none of which you will find in Angostura aromatic bitters.

Background: In 1824 the House of Angostura mastered the production of their aromatic bitters, and almost 200 years on, they have developed their first brand extension, Angostura orange bitters.
