With only four components (competitors use as much as 40 components) it's not that much that can go wrong. After many a-snowy and slushy ride, I can report back that the Win Wing is an impressive addition to any spin through wet conditions.

Stronger, gentler and darker, the fastest clip-on road bike mudguard on the market just got even better! Your feet are still fully exposed, compared to a set of full-coverage mudguards, and there's nothing in the way of coverage for riders following you. Again, as the reviewer, I’m thinking about my own use case here and if an “All-Road” size up to 42s were on the table, I would be significantly less inclined to purchase the wider size, especially given that I’m mostly using this product in winter, on either pavement or dirt that’s not prohibitively snowy and doesn’t warrant wider proper trail tread. With with its compact and lightweight design, can the Ass Savers Win Wing hold up to the death mud found in Colorado’s high desert?Finally, before we move onto performance, Ass Savers offers the Win Wing Gravel and Road in five colours each. The purpose of the MUDDER Regular is to keep your eyes muck-free as you go full speed down that dirtbag of a trail that you love so much. Admittedly, I don’t love the idea or look of (what is essentially) a sophisticated plastic fender and mount, and I was at-first dubious if the juice would be worth the aesthetic-compromising squeeze after receiving a Win Wing to review.

SECURE MOUNTING: Choose from one of the three possible settings to match with the angle of your seat stays. My point being, the ass saver type of guard do have a place, however much users of said guards may be vilified.As such, I’ve never felt the need to outfit any of my bikes with permanent fenders, though they do lend a certain utilitarian panache to a classic skinny-tubed steel steed, imo.
