About this deal

One of these LAN ports can also be used as a WAN connection, so that one does not necessarily have to rely on the wireless modem integrated in the router.

Putting the Orbi system into Access Point (AP) mode, where the ISP modem/router assigns IP addresses to all devices in the network. Personally, I think you'd be better off spending the money on an antenna, something directional and preferable on the opposite side of the property to the tower you don't want. This has the side-effect of disabling all "router functions" of the Orbi,, such as Armor, Parental Controls, Port Forwarding, OpenVPN, etc. For easy access to this data, refer to the "ProductDescription" block and the "ShortDesc" tag in XML or the "Description" block and the "LongProductName" tag in JSON.Some things still load such as Rakuten TV but even ITV Hub is being temperamental and shows "Playback Failed" on actual attempting to launch app sometimes, on a small button, towards bottom right of a black screen, which seems a weird description for occurrence but that's what im getting. But for me, someone who just needs to plug it in, get assigned an IP, and who wants the quickest speed then the Huawei is perfect.

Or, do I bridge the Huawei into a newer WiFi 6 Router and use that to send out the WiFi signal instead? It's only going to be like this until 12th December when the Virgin service is due to be switched on. For the last 2 years we have been using an Huawei b818 in the loft connected to 3 Apple AirPort Extreme’s around the house (‘base’ unit via cat6 and 2 on ‘extend network’.The device is equipped with 4 internal antennas that extend the data transmission range by 40% and guarantee you a strong and stable signal also in large, multi-level rooms. to get to the management pages and the only way to get back in is to do a factory reset, is this the case? Usually it is true - I had mine mounted in the window as for a long time it provided the best speeds out of other locations - but then by pure accident I found that an approx 18x18 inch corner of my bedroom which is behind 2 walls provides up to double the speeds for whatever reason. It is a versatile router that is suitable for both home and small business users, providing a seamless online experience. If you go to the ISP site I posted above and have a good read through the posts before and after you'll get a better idea of what to do.

All internal antenna connections have been re-routed to the outside of the case, and are exposed as four secure SMA-female connections on the side of the router. What’s more, the router will provide you with several levels of security: encryption, network security against unauthorized persons and quick logout of unauthorized users. The Huawei 4G WiFi router is unlocked – works without any problems with any network with a maximum download speed of up to 1600 Mbit/s, and sending up to 150 Mbit/s. OPTUS are so far being fawkward (delib) not helping, and Huawei referred me to Optus, I don't suppose you can assist please with where i can find a firmware upgrade for the B818-263(Base link to site as opposed to direct link for router should be satisfactory providing it is on the site under expected router name). Well, I've come to the end of my tether with Three 4g, it's been getting worse and worse over the last couple of months so much so that it's almost unusable in the evenings (something like 16:00 to 21:00) with constant dropouts and hanging completely whilst streaming resulting in rebooting the B818 and the TP-Link Decos several times until it stabilises.
