After completing the stain removal stage of the project, crews gave the streets a deep clean with the sweeper to buff away any residue and give all surfaces a good polish. Partly free to access and partly accessed with a small fee (4 GBP) which allows visitors onto the roof and down to the lower level. It was easy to be excited myself as I felt like i'd found a little treasure which had thus far escaped me. Head straight over St George’s Street into St George’s Lane and go right at the end into Watling Street, then left into Marlowe Avenue/St Mary’s Street.
What’s more, Canterbury West is situated right at the north of the town, while Canterbury East is right at the south. We will definitely stay here again as this hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the lovely,historic town.I had a room that overlooked the busy crossroads on the 3rd floor and didn't hear any noise from the traffic - and the view over to the cathedral was marvellous. As well as the Canterbury Cathedral and Canterbury city centre, other areas covered are Blean Woods National Nature Reserve, Chartham, Harbledown, Rough Common, University of Kent and Fordwich. Just for me the foyer always feels quite cramped and traffic of visitors doesn't flow very well, especially with the queue for the ladies.

Matt made sure to replace my coffee when there was a humidity issue with the grinder (I really appreciated that this was done without me asking as well!The Marlowe Theatre is an amazing performing arts venue with a wide range of shows to choose from all year round. Canterbury’s main thoroughfare offers a feast for the eyes with plenty of retail therapy from both national and independent businesses. Daniel McPherson from Neighbours and The Bill played Jesus, and the performances roamed through the spaces of the cathedral with a huge local cast. When I pointed out that I was wearing white medical gloves, they asked me to put hand sanitiser on my gloves!
