About this deal

This is the next generation in single use barbecues, made from bamboo, lava stones and cardboard - no metal.

The donut shape of the charcoal briquettes combined with the insulating properties of the lava stones means the CasusGrill BBQ uses 30% less carbon than a conventional disposable BBQ. But Danish startup CasusGrill is making remote cookouts easier than ever with its portable one-time-use grills. Our grill can be used to cook nearly anything from proteins, vegetables, fruits, or even make smores. New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging .CASUSGRILL is a single use grill meaning that you use it once and can conveniently throw away the whole thing. This can be the case with fragile articles, articles going out of assortment or articles sold only for a short period of time.

The lava stones can also be led back to the nature and even be used as a soil conditioner and 100% clean growing media for plants. If you’re purchasing the meat to go with this, indicate that it is for use on the CasusGrill so we know to cut the length accordingly so it won’t fall through the gaps.Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. The only part of the BBQ that won't compost down or burn away is the lava stones, which are just that - stones. Even though I experienced a longer cook time than the 60 minutes it's rated at, this is definitely not the grill you want to use if you have a long line of hungry friends and family waiting for food. The bamboo sticks have food trace after use – therefore they cannot be recycled and must be placed in a ordinary trash bin.

The cardboard shell of the BBQ can be recycled or composted, and the grill and any remaining charcoal can be composted. The BBQ uses bamboo charcoal briquettes, which sit in a bed of lava stones, insulating the grill and amplifying the heat. The CasusGrill™ will become very hot, and so will the area below it, even after it has been extinguished. The grill is large enough to cook a full meal for four with 4-6 burgers, 10 hot dogs or sausages, one decent size steak, or a large trout. The grill top is made from bamboo sticks, and the charcoal is made from compacted bamboo sawdust - a sustainable by product from the manufacturing industry which would otherwise be thrown away. You’ll know it’s ready when the inside has heated up enough that it starts ever so slightly sliding down the bamboo stick. The Casus Grill claims to stay hot for an hour and although I didn’t time it, after cooking sausages, steak, onion and toast, that little eco-beast was still going strong.
