The rain was pretty bad and even the grass underneath the tent started to flood with pools of water, but the bottom of the tent held up really well as there were no leakages which was great.

The flysheet can be removed and the Octagon transforms into a bug-proof screen room perfect for the garden. After all, I would suggest this tent for heavy campers as wel as first timers- families and small groups. Proper use of sunscreen combined with shelters made with UVGuard™ protection fabric can go a long way in the battle against sunburn and UV exposure.
