Yes, all the corners of all the speakers and the turntable are pointy, but everything is screwed, glued or otherwise fitted together well, and the walnut laminate wrap is confidently applied. The speakers included are actually pretty good size, and I was amazed when we plugged just the turntable in to our larger system how rich the sound was.

The Crosley C62 was designed to be a ready-to-go-sounds-darn-good-straight-out-of-the-box turntable system that doesn’t break the bank. I’ve been meaning to upgrade for a long time from our suitcase turntable (which is also a Crosley, but a much smaller, and older model than this) in to something we could keep at home and place on some new shelving. Singers sound barely present, and the overall lack of detail retrieval sucks any animation or character from vocal performances - and there’s just a little hint of the phasiness that becomes more obvious the higher up the frequency range we venture.
