Sometimes we’ll play a party game and we can tell it will be great with all adults, or all kids, but Green Team Wins is a fantastic multi-generational game, and it really exceeded our expectations in that way. Green Team Wins is a party game for, really as many people as you want, but there’s pieces in the box for up to 12 players. There is also a penalty if you are the most recent outcast (only person who wrote a non-matching answer). We had to throw in some Just One easels and make our own green team/orange team tiles when we played with more than six people, which works but just feels a bit disjointed. Green Team Wins then, was clearly designed just for me, which was a really nice thing for designer Nathan Thornton to do – to make a game just for me. Much like Green Team Wins, Herd Mentality rewards points for players who match with the majority answer. This game may have scored a bit higher for me had I not, by total coincidence, recently also played a game that clearly inspired this one, Herd Mentality (Coombes/Penn, 2020).
