The fragrance overall wasn’t bad but wasn’t impressive, the performance seemed quite terrible, so this one is a pass.

Seductive Noir just sits there, flat, unwilling to drape around you even an inch, let alone trail behind you, before it weakens further and evaporates.I remember the jeans fit great; the bombshell supermodel, bodice ripper ads were over the top fun, it is like a version of my vintage gothic romance novel collection from before then, but didn’t think the scent would suit me based on that. Personally I hate vanilla, so I was surprised to find that in Seductive Noir, it was the balancing note the rest have missed. I see others saying it is smokey/cigarettey from others in the comments, as I have to kick my bad habit anyway, this isn't an issue for me, however I personally don't get cigarette notes in this at all! The purple florals are prominent in the entirety of this fragrance, after some wear time I get the depth of the powders and faint smell of the vanilla.

It also has some similarities to Estee Lauder Modern Muse Nuit, so it's obviously following the current trends. UPDATE: I have the version with the black lettering -- seems like this is the inferior formulation according to other reviews.It is a bit masculine in a cologne-y way at the top with the lavender, but settles into a very sweet and creamy scent! Update: I have the Mon Guerlain now, and I wear it fairly often (the EDP), but I won't stop wearing the SN, too.

I have a unique body chemistry due to a genetic condition so I tend to get different notes out of perfumes than most, and some of these reviews had me whaaa? Very sweet and powdery in the dry down, I get a little booziness and spice too, not sure where that comes from. it's a winter/fall perfume for sure, definitely a going-out fragrance I dont think this would be very office-friendly to those who may not like strong scents. I'm new to fragrance so there are some notes I can't pick out, but it may be the vetiver adding the bit of darkness to this. In a long, inexpensive simple velvet black dress and my hair done at home, wearing gloves to my elbows and gorgeous diamond-like earrings, drinking whiskey in a round glass and watching the fire cracking in the fireplace with a nice gentleman by my side, adoring me in the dim light while the snowstorm rages outside. You won’t really notice any difference between a product purchased from Perfume’s Club and a product purchased from a seller in our new Marketplace.
