About this deal

Would be 5 stars, but it does creak a bit when you both get in which hopefully will remedy itself with use. Note that there is yet another one-person cot of this brand here in the site built in the same style, the HI-GEAR Folding Camp Bed. The double-height PVC design comes complete with a headboard to stop pillows from wandering over the edge and there’s even a carry bag to facilitate easy storage. the thought of my weight focussed on a few contact points and all that wriggling around cant be a good thing! The fabric is a polyester, this material is standardly used for such cots, but they do not provide more information about it.

They are heavy though, so not ideal for festivals or camping pitches that you’re taking public transport to reach. We have got the HiGear quick comfort beds and use them with SIMs, I can only dream of being as light as 15 stone and I find them phenomenally comfortable and because they are higher than many of the others, they are easy to get on and off of. If you were at all concerned, you could also separate the bunk beds and just use them as single camping beds, or keep younger children on the bottom bunk. You'll also find advice and recommendations for places to holiday with little ones in destinations around the world.

com Limited is an Appointed Representative of Compare The Market Limited who is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. To anyone who has battled with punctures, and foot faulty pumps this alternative option of a foldaway camp bed should be a serious consideration. Introductions are limited to motor finance, CarMoney Limited will pay us a fixed commission per paid out deal. The camping bunk beds were a great bit of kit to take with us on our three week road trip, but we also regularly use them for staying at friends’ and families’ houses, as well as when we stay in self-catering apartments on holiday. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. I have to say rolling things up – mattresses, sleeping bags, you name it, is my LEAST favourite part of the camping experience. We’re all for anything that makes our lives easier, and this airbed with an integrated sleeping bag has won us over for streamlining the camping experience.

It offers lots of space for two adults, and because of the central bar, each of the occupants has its own side of the bed. There are six air chambers that work independently of each other, so if you get a hole or tear, you don't have to bin the entire design. If the item comes direct from a manufacturer, it may be delivered in non-retail packaging, such as a plain or unprinted box or plastic bag. Hmmmm, my Outwell Laguna XL camp bed is of the same design as the OP's, with no reported issues, except for difficulties in putting it together when it was brand new due to the fabric not being stretched. The steel frame mechanism works the same way as a camping chair, allowing you to set up and fold down by yourself.

We’re going to get loads of use out of the fold up bunk beds in years to come too, not just as tent camping bunk beds, but for weekends away, self-catering stints and staying with friends and family. Whether you’re looking for a two-person sleeping option or just like the idea of having a little more snoozing room for your next adventure in the great outdoors, we’ve rounded up the best camping beds for couples below. Product Description: HI-GEAR Double Folding Campbed Is an Easy to Use and Compact when Packed Steel Structure with more than Enough Space for Two People.

While you can use this fold-out camp bed with just sleeping bags and a pillow, for couples who want to cuddle up adding a double-size inflatable mattress to the top will stop the central bar from separating you. I like the fact there’s no faffing around with pumps, and no issues with having to deflate beds like you get with blow-up mattresses.

Once they’re up and in the tent though, as they only take up the same amount of room as one camp bed, there is plenty of space left for the sprawl of kiddo paraphernalia. Couples heading for the great outdoors should consider this double-sized camp bed which folds out just as easily as a standard design. To anyone who has battled with punctures, foot pumps and faulty compressors the alternative option of a foldaway camp bed should be a serious consideration.
